Awarded the Green Key eco-label in 2017, this hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV in the historic center of Guimarães. Guimarães Castle is 10-minute walk away. The rooms at Hotel Mestre De Avis come with large windows and parquet floors. Each room has a modern, private bathroom with either a bathtub or shower. Some rooms have a balcony. With 24-hour hotel access, guest at Mestre De Avis can come and go as they like. - Good 2 star hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Clean, comfortable and with the option of breakfast if required.
- Old, cheap but decent hotel very close to town center with dated but functional rooms. No elevator, my room was on third floor. Cheap but tedious parking, no place to stop to pick up or drop off the parking card.
