Pros +
- Very good French Breakfast. Qualntity and quality excellent. The people are very attentive and friendly. The meals on the restaurant menu were excellent.
- Breakfast was really tasty and good value. There was loads of free parking nearby, and the hotel staff were very friendly. A little bit of a walk from the main streets, but we didn't mind that. A fan was provided in the room which was much needed and appreciated
- Continental breakfast was good, and there was more than enough. Room was large and clean. Price was reasonable.
Cons -
- Bathroom for litle persons (room 17).
- It would've been nice to have at least one chair in the room.
- The property is still being renovated and potentially will be much higher quality. The renovations did not interfere with our stay. The property will be much more attractive when completed.

Easy to find, comfortable. We were given a different room to ease my problem with stairs, very helpful.
The room was recently renovated and was very clean and fresh.

The owner wasn’t around when we arrived and the cafe/tabac downstairs was closed, but it was open next morning and looked like a good lunch spot. Very clean. A nice surprise to find a bath in the en-suite, rather than a shower! Inexpensive for Saulac.
Quality of some of the fittings could be improved, and the WC cubicle in the spacious ensuite is unnecessary, and very small. WiFi poor. A wider (than 150cm) bed would be a good idea. Maybe also tidy the scruffy back yard, which spoils an otherwise pleasant view.
The room (No.11) was a good size. The shower room was clean. The breakfast was tasty...good coffee and the baguettes & pastries were very fresh.
We didn't get the "warm" welcome other guests had. At first we were told they didn't have the reservation.. we had only booked it a couple of hours before arriving so obviously no one had checked.A welcome smile and then checking their reservations to find ours would have been much "warmer" welcome. We were given a key and told how to get to the room instead of being shown where it was. As a result we initially went in the wrong door. The bedroom didn't smell great i.e. stale/musty(moisi) The furniture was cheap and very uninviting. There wasn't even a chair in the room. The pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable. The shower room was tiny, the toiletries consisted of 1 tiny bar of soap and 2 tiny bottles of shower gel. The towels definitely couldn't be described as " soft and fluffy" and had seen better days . The shower room had no ventilation or a fan and the WC was a Macerator/sanibruyeur which was very very noisy..so we didn't flush it during the night. Based on other reviews.. perhaps the other bedrooms are better. ?♀️Sadly , not a pleasant experience for us.
The loveliest of owners at the hotel; so welcoming and friendly. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room in a quiet location and just 10 mins walk to restaurants etc. Glad I picked here compared to other places nearby! Highly recommend. Had a terrific stay.
Excellent location at railway station, very friendly atmosphere.
Mattress had a non breathing layer - causing severe transpiration (no moisture transport)
Private yet conveniently located has a bright sunny disposition and the room is spacious
Could have a kettle and coffee and tea making facilities then it would be perfect
While it was a basic hotel room it was clean and comfortable.
It was a short walk from the main town which may be an issue for some people.
great hostess and fantastic homemade jam!
dated facilities and far from the beach
Having turned up covered in mud and soaking wet, the landlady took all our clothes and washed and dried them for us. The room was exceptionally comfortable and vast. The breakfast or petit dejeuner was more than adequate and kept us going until lunch. It was within easy walking distance from the town centre and all it’s facilities.
It would have quiet and peaceful if there wasn’t a huge motorcycle event in the town that weekend.
One of the best price/value ratio. The hotel was super clean and the rooms were perfectly equiped.
Nothing it was perfect.
Excellent staff
Nice stopover after long drive
