- I was totally 'out of season' so I could not benefit from everything on offer. But the owner goes out of his way to give you a warm welcome and inform you about the attractions in this fairly unknown nature reserve.

- The outside had long grass & was untidy [ cigs ends everywhere ] There was really nowhere to sit & the bar did not open till 20.00. Take your own Drink of choice. These comments are in order for the hotel to improve & no other reason.

Breakfast was good. Location was remote , but a beautiful area and good roads, very quiet and few restaurants.
lovely quiet position in top of pretty village with views over forest and hills. Great local walks? Friendly staff, good size bedroom and large bathroom. Excellent evening meal and wine at €2.50 a large glass!!

The area was really beautiful & the inside of the Hotel was tastefully done. The Staff [ we only saw one ] was quite inexperienced but was as helpful as she could.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, the manager lady - Altair - was extremely helpful and kind (Thank you very much for everything!).I rarely come across such good and helpful people. Everything was perfect from the arrival, breakfasts, dinners, advice on the area... really nothing to say and only positive things.
Honestly everything was great, perhaps the only thing I would mention is the comfort of the beds. The beds are fairly hard, now this is up to everyone, my wife loved it, I prefer softer but it is not that bad !!
