Capo Spartivento Lighthouse

Every aspect was the best of our 12-day trip in Sardinia: breakfasts, dinners, views, sunsets, staff, overall experience.

The price point is the only thing holding us back from a 10 rating. Also, we were not given adequate warning about the poor condition of the private dirt road to the hotel. Be prepared for a rough ride!

It's one of our best hotel experiences of our lifetime. This place is a gem and a total feast for all senses. It deserves nothing less than a perfect 10. We stayed in the separate building with a private pool. Rooms there are really big and beautifully designed.

Way overpriced for what you get. 860 per night in the middle of September should mean a spacious comfortable bathroom with a bath tub.

Most amazing hotel experience hotel I had in a while, privacy roads leads to the only privatized 5 stars lighthouse in Italy where you totally disconnect in an amazing setting, amazing staff and great cousine. I will surely come back next year.

The uniqueness of the location, the design and the quiet atmosphere

Great location and very unique setting of the hotel in a good way. Our experience there was absolutely fantastic. Staff there were all extremely helpful and kind which makes our stay very comfortable.

The location outside of where the masses are was incredible!

Very friendly staff, beautiful location and wonderful food.. minor things need better care, like cleaning the glass at the pool deck so you can see the surroundings and the bed could be more comfortable and bigger for tall people

First of all, the staff was extraordinary: Alessandra, the skipper of the lighthouse, Rodolfo, Danielle, and everyone else in the kitchen, cleaning, and reception. Thank you for everything! Unfortunately, we stayed only one night as part of our journey across Sardinia and had to leave early the next morning. However, the staff was very kind and prepared a to-go breakfast for us, even setting up a coffee machine in the lobby.The lighthouse is fully operational, very remote, and offers peace and quiet. The views from the lighthouse are excellent, especially at sunrise and sunset. The infinity pool is fabulous. The food is very good, cooked in small quantities, with an à la carte menu featuring local specialties. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike

Incredible serene & simply otherworldly views from inside our suite, the terrace of the main building & basically everywhere. As soon as we arrived we felt transported to a different planet.You can climb the stairs all the way the top of the lighthouse.The area is very calm & quiet. You can take wonderful photos & go on hikes in many different areas.There are also some pristine beaches a close drive away with a car.The staff are very helpful & friendly.Important to consider:There's a long stretch of bumpy dirt road to get there so keep that in mind. A 4x4 elevated vehicle is preferred in my opinion. Unless you're an experienced driver.The closest village is probably 40 minutes away by car so make sure to bring your own snacks & drinks.If you plan to have dinner there it's a chef predetermined 3 course meal at 100 Euro per person. So you may want to consider eating before you arrive if you want to have more variety or save money.

The air conditioning inside our suite was set to heating mode only.This was the case for the entire main building when we arrived.Unfortunately you can not set your room temperature individually.The hotel has to decide whether to use heating mode only or cooling mode only for the central AC unit and it applies to all rooms in the building.We could not sleep that night, our room was simply too hot.We couldn't open the windows because there were dozens of insects crawling on the outside of the windows. It's in the middle of the wilderness so that's to be expected Fortunately, Nicola & Laura managed to move us to a suite in a separate building. With working cooling. & we were eventually able to sleep.I want to give special thanks to Nicola & Laura, they did absolutely everything to make our stay pleasant & they succeeded.I'd visit again but I'd pick a room in the separate building to have access to individual AC units in the suite..

The perfect place where the description of paradise fits exactly. Laura who showed us the hotel very kindly and Daniele who made every wish come true. We had 2 wonderful days and we will definitely come back for another break. Many thanks especially to Daniele! Lisa and Christian

Nothing of significance!

The location is simply stunning. I am a local, and have been to the area many times on hikes, but actually sleeping there, appreciating the incredible silence, is truly a wonderful experience. We loved the spacious room; the stunning views of the sea (the sunset from the terrace is out of this world!); the comfortable bed. The lighthouse can be visited, and it's fully working. The communal areas are cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the food - we had the breakfast included in the price; a delicious dinner (we especially liked the fish course) and the staff would not let us go without providing sandwiches for our hike! Speaking of which: the staff is really kind. Thank you Michele who helped me arrange a wonderful stay; thank you Laura for picking us up and giving us tips on walks in the area; and thank you Nicola for sharing all the info about the hotel, the area and for being kind and corteous.

The property is at a very special location. and the property itself is fantastic - a historic gem !It is impeccably maintained and furnishing and decor are lovingly curated.

There is nothing we did not like. We loved everything about Faro Capo Spartivento !
