The food was fabulous a really good choice and very tasty. There was lots of areas to relax in the sunshine or shade.Staff and other visitors were really friendly. Very good air-conditioning. I would happily stay here again as I thought it was great value for money.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The location is perfect for birdwatchers, the breakfast could be a bit more varied and often we had to wait for items to be resupplied

We don't like birds and exotic animals in cages. The WiFi in the room was bad

It looked like it was built in the 80s and the bathroom needs renovation.Had stained bedroom sheets when arrived and asked them to be replaced which they did

Centrally located in the island, easy for day trips all over Lesvos, near The small pictures fishing Harbour and tavernas

Nice pool and clean rooms.

Small beds and there was dogsjit all over the place. You could smell it in the room. Also the diner was poor . Breakfast was ok.

Family business, everything is so close to each other.

The internet was not working inside the rooms. Breakfast was OK but not so good. It was an open buffet that had drinks, milk, coffee, tea, bread, egg, yogurt, salami, cereal, etc, but it was not special. Cheese and olives could be better. The sea is much better at Midilli Port, which is far. The hotel was also far from the center of the island. You need to book the ferry from Ayvalik with your car months before your travel. Otherwise, there is no space for your car in the ferry, and renting a car is expensive.

Didn’t get to see where the sauna was

Personnel was very kind and interested. Helped about trip route and places to visit. Meals were awesome and enough with plenty of choices also included a glass of wine.

We were birdwatching and this was a fabulous location. Breakfast was great.

It is on the shabby side. The bathroom was not overly clean and the washbasin plug was stuck so we had a basin full of water. No hot water in the basin either. The hotel overall is in need of maintenance. The most challenging thing was the caged animals and the ‘farm’.

Great value for money with the breakfast included in the price. Lovely location, close to the beach and to the town for food.

Animals in cages especially birds makes me feel very anxious and sad. The animals look well cared for and their enclosures look spacious and clean but it still makes me sad : birds that will never fly. Pretty Squirrel who won't be able to climb a tree. I'm sure others like this but I found it really sad.

This is a little gem. The staff were amazing and helpful, so kind and informative. Would it win 4 in a bed? No! But this is rural Greece and it’s a fraction of the cost for a good, clean room with bath. The aircon worked like a dream and there is a balcony and fridge. Breakfast is standard but It’s a stones throw from the beach and Skala Kalloni has brilliant seafood and atmosphere.

Hospitality in its purest form! Originally I only booked for two nights but ended up staying for six. Such a lovely vibe, food and people. I already planned my return.
