About
Established in 1892 on the peak of the Schlossberg hill, Berggasthof Hotel Igelwirt is surrounded by scenic Franconia countryside. The property offers free internet and picturesque forest views. Tastefully decorated interiors feature either rustic furniture or modern décor. Rooms feature a TV, and the private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. A hearty buffet-style breakfast is prepared every morning in the dining area. The rustic restaurant serves German cuisine and Franconia specialties. Hiking is popular in the area and marked trails can be found nearby. Osternohe is ideal for skiing, and a cross-country run begins not far from Berggasthof Hotel Igelwirt. Free parking is available and the A9 motorway is 2.5 mi away.
