Family run, everything perfect, with a taste from the sixties. Home made jam for breakfast. Owners very kind, friendly and helpful.

The greeting and our treatment for our stay was excellent! The rooms had been nicely updated. The breakfast was wonderful especially the jam!

We were there at the end of September and the heat was not on yet. Our room was very cold. Heats could not be turned on, not even the towel heater in the bathroom. We were not able to check into the hotel unt 4:30. We were travelling on bicycles and an earlier check in possibility would have been appreciated.

Location was great.Staff was incredibly friendly. Our son forgot something during our stay, and the staff put in a lot of effort in returning his things to us. We are very grateful.

Separate toilet & bathroom within the room. Serres was an interesting town to stroll around with depictions of historical figures with connections to Serres

Toilet was very small & no private parking. The spaces in front of the hotel were all taken so we had to park in public car park in centre of Serres.

Friendly management. Nice rooms. Good quality and enjoyable breakfast.

Every year I wait for them to serve espresso with breakfast. A simple capsule Nespresso or Tassimo costs less than €100! It’s a good investment!

Location

Noisy room. You can hear other people on phones/TV/walking around upstairs and from reception. It needs carpets and sound proofing .

Secure parking for my motorcycle. Nice atmosphere with helpful hosts. Convenient for restaurants.

The owners were absolutely delightful right from the start - charming check-in, lots of recommendations, delicious breakfast. The room was simple but really clean, with comfortable bed.

Perfect location, the comfiest bed and the friendliest of hosts!

This hotel was absolutely perfect for four motorcyclists. The landlord couldn't be more charming or helpful. He led the motorcyclea to the garage across the street then found us a room.with four beds. The place was spotlessly clean and the breakfast fresh and delicious. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone touring in the area.

The beams in the room were a little low, but manageable... full of character.

Bad

I reserved a room and sent a message saying i needed to check k in around 1330 if possible. I received no response and when I arrived at the hotel there was a sign on the door saying reception was closed from 1230-1630 every day. I tried to call them and no one answered. Not at all hospitable or service minded. I ended up booking a new room at the Hotel du Nord, which is 100 meters away. Their staff, facilities and restaurant were MUCH better. I recommend everyone stay there instead.

If was ousted in booking.com as near our location but was 600 km away. They were rude, unhelpful snd refused to refund us

Everything

We stopped in Serres overnight on the way from Nice to the Ardèche. We found a parking place near the hotel, and it was just a short walk to a circle for a place to eat. Walking back, we passed through an older part of town and learned something of its history. A comfortable stop in an historic town. The hotel fulfilled our needs very well.

Great location and staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating as we were travelling by bicycles and they had a secure place for them. Our room was comfortable and the view was amazing and loved that we could open the windows.

A warm and helpful host. An impeccably clean and modern room.
