Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, excellent value for money and offer.

good breakfast help ful front desk
beds too soft n u need climb up to room
Good central location with under cover parking at reasonable cost. Good breakfast. All staff pleasant and helpful.
Room on the smallish side and bed could be more comfortable. The restaurant and cafe are closed on Monday and Tuesdays - the days we were there - under these circumstances a kettle in the bedroom would have been useful.
Hotel location was fine and rest of town accessible from hotel. Excellent breakfast with a very good choice. Rooms clean and comfy.
Small car park virtually next to hotel but there is further parking 50 metres down the street which is also for hotel use.
We stayed in very nice apartment in new building. Everything was comfortable — bedrooms and beds, living room and kitchen, bathroom. Excellent breakfast!
The staff at this hotel were amazing! Really understanding and helpful in a somewhat difficult situation. They confirmed my belief that Thuringia as a destination generally and the Werra Valley in particular is one of the most underrated parts of Germany. Also, as everyone else has reported, the breakfast was pretty good. And the bathrooms are big enough to sleep in (I know, because I had to do so).
Unfortunately, and I have given my rating based on my personal situation as an allergy sufferer, all the rooms have carpet and none of them have any encasements on the mattresses. I have slept in rooms with carpet and in hotel rooms without encasements on the mattresses recently and not had anywhere near as many issues. This leads me to believe that the mattress and the carpet were quite old. I understand that they also let pets stay in some rooms. The hotel has an older section and a newer section and they differ significantly. After I spent the night hiding out in the lobby to avoid the dust mites (and to a lesser extent the pollen) and arrived at reception with my bags packed a day early (something I have never done before), the kind receptionist gave me a room in the newer building. This was much better, but I still had to sleep in the bathroom. It's possible that my allergies just coincidentally got much worse while I was staying there, but nonetheless, whilst I will definitely go back to the restaurant, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone with allergies, hayfever, asthma, sinus problems or who regularly wakes up with a blocked nose and a bit of a sniffle that goes away during the day.For everyone else, it's fine, just understand that the reviews cover a range of rooms.
Apartment was brand new, everything was very clean. Good equipment. Staff was super helpful and friendly.
There was no Nutella at the breakfast but that is not a big point.
Everything was good when we stayed. There are some bad reviews about noise in some rooms, but we asked for quiet room and everything was good. Breakfast was good. We would stay again.
Room and staff were great
The parking wasn’t convenient
This place is awesome. I want to thank the following people Karoline,Carmen,Evelyn, Cathleen, and Marion. This was an amazing stay. The breakfast and dinner were just delicious, the best choice buffet I would stay in Germany so much choice.
The best breakfast buffet and fresh from the kitchen. Nice and helpful staff. Quick replies to messages sent on the Booking app.
All is good here
Fantastic breakfast, great little village, very nice and secure room with fridge/freezer
Pleasant
Old rooms which needs to be upgraded, room smelled damp and bathroom was also very outdated and had a bad odour.
Lovely big comfortable and quiet roomsExcellent breakfastFriendly staff Bike storage in garage accessible from hotelWould have loved to try their restaurant but it was closed Monday/TuesdayNice Italian across road and other options short walk away
Breakfast was fine.
The hotel got raving reviews, so I decided to go. But when my electric plug could not fit in the wall, and I asked the receptionist if they had an adapter for EU socket, I was met with uninviting and no help at all.The door to the room was seemingly not insulated for sound. So it was very disturbing to fall asleep. I got up to drive 9,5h. So this was disconcerting to say the least. Also the selection of channels were only the normal German channels. I would expect a satelite TV selection in a hotel with high reviews.
The hotel is really nice and comfortable, staff very welcoming and helpfull, good facilities, and very good breakfast buffet. The location is also really awesome, middle of the town, and that town is PRETTY. Nice walks all around, I really would have liked to stay longer. Can totally recommend.
On arrival it was a little unclear where to best park the car, and even where the entrance to the hotel really is. It's kinda not to the side you'd expect it to be. :D So I probably ended up paying a bit more for parking than I would have had to - no big deal (it's still rather cheap), but a bit more information about that beforehand would not hurt.
