Romantik Hotel Schloss Reichenow

We make a booking on the website and received notification that we would being later that their checkin time. Noone replied when knocking on the door, and no one answered so I I had to book another. I absolutely should be allowed to be friended.John & Linette Mastorakis

Noone answered the door when we arrived and we had no access to the property.

It is a bit far from the highway, but it is placed in a very beautiful location. Great rooms.

Expensive restaurant and no other possibilities to eat nearby.

The accomodation itself is very nice, but surrounding is a little bit meh, specially if the weather isn't super sunny. Rooms are cool, breakfast is great. Just don't come last minute cause they're not refilling it, what is there from the beginning is all it is (maybe it was only the case because it was out of season)

Location is a bit problematic if you don't have a car. Buses are on the call! So be sure to call if you want to use them ? there was one girl at the reception that was very nice and helpful, but all others were kind of giving the feeling that we're bothering them cause we want to check in or know where the restaurant is ?

We enjoyed our stay at the Romantik Hotel Schloss Reichenow. The hotel, resembling a castle, is situated in a picturesque location near a lake. It's a beautifully renovated castle offering spacious and clean rooms. The staff were fine, and the pricing was affordable. While we didn't use the sauna and fitness facilities, they were available. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, surpassing what we had seen in photos from other reviewers. I regret not taking photos of the diverse breakfast offerings myself.

There are hardly any negatives to mention. The only suggestion I have is to add a refrigerator to each room as a standard. It seems necessary, especially for families with children. Additionally, a kettle in the rooms would be a convenient addition, again, necessary for families with kids. Aside from these minor points, everything else was fantastic!

Very comfy beds! Quite place - only singing birds and nice nature. Very good personal! Good swimming lake. Safe parking.Perfect breakfast!And overall to sray inside castle is interesting expirience.

Hot at summer on the second floor (203 room), no air conditioning. No still water in the room - we and kids, for example,don't drink carbonated. Only 2 big towels for 2 adults and 2 kids and only 1 toothbrush for all - I think that for sure they will give it for us if we ask, but for 4-star hotel it shouldn't be applicable.

The location is perfect. It is a real castle! The room was very good and comfortable. It was very clean and romantic)) The territory around is also wonderful! A lake for walks, perfect views from every corner of the hotel territory. And the view from my room was also just as in a picture!)

- No fridge in room- Floor made of old wooden bars, make noise on steps.- Confuse hotel restaurant schedule. Tuesday hotel restaurant closed, Wednesday no lunch. Because the hotel is far away from the city, so we have some struggle to get food during the off time of the hotel restaurant.

the staff is very disorganized and unhelpful. I had problems with dinner reservation and also with the payment of the final bill. charged repeated and non-existent items

Location looks ideal for family and couples get away.Its really good landscape.

Well,lets start with that,that im not a picky person,BUT!We did arrive around 18.00I did check before if restaurant are open,on arrival(i had two small kids with me)i was told that "restaurant are closed" Ok,im fine with that,on my question what is a solution..i was told i can order pizza(we are in german country side)im not local,how come i can know where i can order food,from staff side there was no interess to help,nothing!if i was a staff i would print out a paper where my "welcomed" guest can get food.I did request two baby cribs in a room,there was not ready on arrival,ok fine..i ask for them..so i did get two cribs with no matrases on them?!Then i went down again and asked for some extra linen..i had answer that "we are not allowed to give any extra linen" fine thanks!On not successful search for food delivery i went and nearly with tears on my eye asked at least a plate of fries for my kids,because chief was there,finally after i get some snacks for my kids (thanks to a blond waiter,its seemed like he is only one who cared and had a customer service skill)They sadi they are 4 star hotel but tv remote a heavily earen by dog.Bathroom full of ladybug (i understand countryside but not that amount)Why you offer cribs if you don't have a matrass and lilen..In general it was a shame and im soo unhappy about my stay,its will leave a big black mark on my holiday. Wishing you a good improvement.

great atmosphere

that we had a table book for 19:00 and our food came at 20:52 ?

The castle is fairly well kept, the rooms are large and clean.

Location is very surburban which would be great if it was possible to get any food in walking distance. There is a restaurant located on the castle grounds, but unfortunately it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so we had to drive 15 minutes to the nearest town to buy groceries. Not quite the romantic night we had imagined.

It's a nicely maintained chateau with a decent accomodation. Some fantastic breakfast on the terrace is the highlight and makes up for the fact this hotel is in a middle of nowhere.

Wifi has it's issues. The restaurant closes a bit early (at 10pm), but it's still great given, the hotel is in a remote location.

Great room, dream location, quiet, romantic, stylish, not stuffy, great kitchen, super helpful staff, .... you name it

One small point: Set breakfast, no buffet because there were only a few guests. This is fine, but it would be much nicer if they would ask what people want, e.g., vegetarian, no cake, or jam only, rather than putting the same for everybody so that food gets thrown away.

What an amazing location : the hotel is a converted Tudor Style Prussian castle with a wonderful park and historic flair. The service is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and cosy. The staff is absolutely friendly and professional. The hotel has an exceptional restaurant with regional cuisine and a wide range of excellent wines. It couldn’t be better! We highly recommend this superb, calm , relaxing and stylisch property. A place to visit again….

The first day at breakfast, the selection was minimal. The breakfast buffet, however, was improved on the second day.

Good breakfast, very friendly young staff (they need more though), good dinner. Quite a few guests with dogs which was wonderful. Nice lake to swim in.

The hotel is in a converted Tudor style Prussian castle in the middle of a landscaped park. There's a small lake with a beautiful trail around it. Back of the hotel slopes down to the waters edge. You can also swim in the lake. Location is very bike and dog friendly. Hotel is beautiful restored and in done in a elegant style. Great place for a wedding or retreat as there are seminar rooms. Restaurant is five star, regional cuisine.

Room was a bit stuffy, could have used a fan. It is close to a sheep farm so some smells to drift in.
