Cons -
- The wifi did not work for us, incredibly slow.
- Advised the hotel by email before arrival that we had a dog so to add the €15 charge to our bill. Whilst there, on more than one occasion, we felt like we were accused of trying to avoid payment.
- No air-conditioning, warm inside, even with open window and just +18 at night.Too wintery blunckets for warm sommer. Price...145 euro for 2adults+1child, breakfast included.

We like historical hotel.Comfortable enough for 1 night.Easy check inn for late arrival with night safe keys.3 bottles of mineral water of very good quality waited us.

I am 89 an don't walk very well; the staff was excedingly helpful and considerate which is why I decided to stay at the same hotel on my way home.

Loved everything; the location, the staff, the atmosphere of the hotel and the super cute little village, beds very comfortable, breakfast amazing
Very nice rooms and very nice surroundings in small old city
The hotel is in a quiet part of Schlitz, and in a convenient location relative to our plans those days.
Concerning the water pressure, when the handle in the shower was turned to maximum, the water fell in a straight line down, in the corner of the shower so one had to do some gymnastics to get all the body parts wet, while the room as still cold. I understand we are all saving everything we can, but for the price and the temporary stay, this was too far, considering the hotel was essentially empty. The room was ice cold when we arrived. It was clear they want to save money again, okay, but with one guest, it took hours to have a warm room and the rooms are individually heated. The mattress was so soft we were sucked down in the middle of the bed and left with back pain. The second night we tried to turn around with our heads on the other end, but the mattess contined to swallow us up, unusually uncomfortable. In this regard, two nights were enough. The staff requested that we pay the evening before instead of the next morning at checkout. Apparently because we were the only guests, this was more convenient for them, I think more consideration of what is convenient for the paying customer is more proper for a professional business, not to ask such things. We decided not to book here again and we will find another hotel in Hünfeld or Fulda.
The hotel is in the old part of Schlitz. Many old half timbered houses in the style of this area of Germany.
The English of the employees in the hotel is a catastrophy. I would expect at least basic English for a hotel where I have to spend 105 Euros per night (without breakfast: 12,50 Euros per person) in the middle of nowhere. Other 4 star hotels in this area take 95 Euros (without breakfast). The restaurant situation is the other point. There is one pizza place (restaurant La Gondola) and one other restaurant (Muiskpub) were you can eat, forget the rest, what ever they tell you in the hotel.
Great breakfast. Well organised - many things were cleverly and ingeniously solved. The Cafe is beautiful with great views
We travelled by motorbike and were greeted outside the hotel and directed where to park directly outside the door. The rooms were unique and pretty. The garden is a real bonus in the centre of town and such a haven particularly on such a hot day, with a variety of seating including a hammock and swing. There is an honesty bar which worked really well and well stocked. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip from the usual variety of ham, cheese, breads to fresh fruit, smoked salmon and freshly prepared scrambled or fried eggs.
I liked the quietness of the room.
I did not like the fact it was very warm (June) yet there is no fan in the room. When you open the windows the flies come in because there are no screens on some of the windows. Of course there is no air conditioning. In terms of other issues, the internet connection was very weak, I had to take my computer to the front desk in order to get a connection. There was no internet in the room basically.
Breakfast was a good cold buffet with optional hot egg choices. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel was very good and old with some different and well done furnishings.Fortunately the weather was very good for drinks outside .
Some difficulty parking in the old town. The hotel has a few parking spaces but generally full in the evening when we needed to park.
Very beautiful accommodation. We arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening and we had the keys in the box by the door - info sms. Very good communication with the owners. Wonderful old hotel, right in the center of a beautiful city. Very quiet place. Breakfast was super wonderful !!! We have yet to return here. The staff was great - helpful, smiling, friendly :-)
Cosy old fashion hotel right in the center of the city. The room was very spacious with a wonderful view. The staff was nice and accommodating.
Overall the stay was great. If we have to pin point something the pillows could have been better. Also the shower needed drain cleaner.
It is a nice house with a really nice terrace. It's in the middle of this small really pretty medieval town. The room were funny with the golden curtains and all.We had dinner at the Braustübchen near by and the food was perfect. German and very delicious.
The lobby had at least six different posters telling you what you had to do or what you were not allowed to do. Written with underlines and exclamation marks (!) It does not feel welcoming.
Breakfast was excellent. It was overall a good hotel.
The parking was far away and getting up the stairs with luggage wasn’t pleasant. The decor in our room was very gaudy! Donald Trump would probably like it.
Excellent place for a short visit to the beautiful town
A beautiful place in an historic city center.
nice staff
