Hotel Vorderburg

Inspiring hotel in an historical setting. Walking the surounding area was a big hit - massive tower and church tower. Close to restaurants, good parking. Dog friendly.

Very quiet and romantic location. Amazing breakfast and amazing staff as well.

Everything was fine, I would come again.

Very nice rooms. Friendly personal. Nice stop on our way home from holiday. Close to the motorway.

Great hotel with very nice staff and wonderful breakfast. Surrounded by several buildings of historical value. Highly recommended.

Fantastic view from the room with sun in the evening.Location: in the middle of the historic village was appreciatedWe got our room early after arrival and could relax from our bike day

A possibility to prepare a tea on arrival in the room would have been appreciated

Fantastic stay in a great location within castle walls. Hotel has been extensively modernised, room was very clean and staff helpful. Breakfast offers something for absolutely everyone. Parking is right outside (at a charge) and restaurants are near by. This is a must stay when in the area!

Fantastic breakfast, also afternoon coffee and cakes.Excellent location in centre of Schlitz.Staff kept the place spotless.

Dead in the evenings, drinks available but not a proper bar.

Very friendly staff, great service, super breakfast. Great location next door to the museum, walking distance from the center, just two restaurants in town and a snack bar.

Nothing, all great!

The location.The room.The breakfast.

Nothing not to like. Everything was just great!

Owner managed. Owner on site and under control. Lot of nice design features fitting nicely into the historical atmosphere. Breakfast wit a big choice for everybody.Right in the middle of town with internal parking.

Stylish German-Quality renovated history building. clean, good location.

Difficult to say…all good actually.

The hotel is located in a historical town, the surroundings are picturesque, parking near hotel available. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hostess was also very friendly and helped us reserve a nearby Restaurant and give information about the surroundings.

Nothing to complain about

Great location, quiet, classy decor, wonderful breakfast.

At check in at 14:00 (check in time) we were greeted by a woman who seemed annoyed at our arrival and instead of welcoming us said “you’re very punctual” and told us she needed time “to turn on some lights” in the lobby. Her terrible attitude ruined what would have been an otherwise wonderful stay. We’ll visit Schlitz again but will definitely give another property a try.

Room was a good size, very clean and comfortable, good breakfast.

Very lovely and quiet room. Excellent breakfast with seating outside. Very helpful personnel. Very nice location in castle and close to the medieval village center.

The hotel is perfect. The culinary possibilities in the neighborhood at night are very limited. Would be nice to have a good restaurant close to such a nice hotel. Would come back.

Everything was very nice, kind staff . Very clean, good breakfast, and our dog was allowed to follow us to the breakfast.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Schlitz within easy walking distance to all the old Town sites and several restaurants. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable.

Very beautiful surrounding in a tranquil little town.nice owner, really pet friendly.

the room was a little on the small side.

Just a brilliant little hotel. The family apartment was perfect for us, a family of four. Complemented with a really good breakfast and a friendly and helpful hostess, so my warmest recommendation

Beautiful location. Friendly and customer-minded staff. Excellent breakfast.

The bathrooms were a bit outdated.
