Nice location, clean and comfortable

Reception was unmanned, keys had to be received electronically after creation of an account on the Hotel website. Would be useful to know these details in advance when booking as no assistance can be obtained onsite

I did the online check in, anyway 10 minutes before my arrival I received call from the hotel that my reservation is canceled because they confirmed more guests than capacity is. Proposed solution - room in another city 30 minutes away. No thanks

Clean, the breakfast is just perfect, everything you need is in the room

Everything was as expected.Location is amazing. Breakfast was the Best.Check-In was smooth.

Close to the coaster

We were left stuck outside the hotel. Couldn’t even get inside the door until some other person staying here came out. It’s totally unmanned there is no reception. When I did find a number the lady was rude. So apparently it’s a code you need to get your keep to get in. NONE OF THIS WAS ON THE WEBSITE WHEN YOU BOOK. I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE AGAIN

the fact it had scaffolding up out the front. was unmanned from about 6 so that meant no restaurant and no bar! was only informed of this 3 days before trip!! At least there was a fridge with beers in reception with an honesty tin!! under camera though. Also as it had been snowing when we arrived nothing was gritted meaning accessing some of car park impossible!

Room was a little dated but very comfortable, as was the bed, breakfast was very enjoyable with a good selection, Hotel was clean and tidy no complaints there.

Arrived late but no staff on duty and no answere to phone calls.... however there was and email with instruction on key pad code, the issue with this was it was from and email we didnt expect and it came late i the day which led to a few worrying moments

Woke up during the night because of the smoke alarm (probably somebody smoked in his room), but can't blame the hotel for it :)

Shierke is a great city to go dine in and very close to the Hexenstieg, The location is awesome for hikers.Breakfast was good.Very good beds and a good sized room.

Bit expensive this time.Outlay of the room was slightly inconvenient with the TV by the side of the bed which made it uncomfortable to watch.

A short walk from the train station, lies this nice hotel right next to the forest. Nice rooms and good service. Close to the restaurants in Schierke and with a nice sauna (closed during Covid-19)Able to get lunch packets for the hike

We were looking forward to the sauna, which was closed due to Covid-19 - BUT fair enough I guess :-)
