Hotel Restaurant Pizzeria Rotes Haus

The room was simple but spacious. It had a fan and hair dryer, they provided soap and shampoo. There was a huge wardrobe and a desk with two chairs. The building is quite old but the bathroom had been recently remodeled. The property is on a busy road, but we had no issues with noise. The restaurant and their staff are great!! Safe and convenient parking for our vehicle overnight.

The room was quite warm, but we are used to AC so it's probably more of a culture divide for us.

One bed, one shower… quite ! Nearby m’y working area.

Coldest welcome never ever in m’y traveler life… no breakfast at all in the morning, bed really too soft … but what can you get for 110,50 CHF !

The room was quite comfortable and had a private bathroom. Pizza fans will love the proximity to a pizza restaurant.

We arrived at 5pm but no one was there. By 5:15 the very overworked waitress/receptionist arrived and let us in. the fan in the bathroom is very noisy. Pizzas were very expensive as was the room for what it was. This is a very isolated part of Lake Constance. ok to stop here if cycling but nothing to do otherwise.

No breakfast as owners were away but they were very helpful in redirecting us to another cafe! Annoy complain!!

For what I paid I cannot complain lain however it would have been good had the tv worked

Staff was pretty friendly and the rooms, though on the small side, were very clean.

No air conditioning, not a super great mattress.

Wonderful place with warm hospitality... Incomparably tasty Italian specialties, nice, helpful host.

The food was great

We called one day earlier to ask if we can checj in before 5pm. It was accepted and we just needed to call half an hour before arrival. We kept calling, nobody answeres so upon arrival we needed to wait 1.5 hours for somebody to open which is not good after 65km bicycle ride. If they promise something they should keep it.

Location, walking disrance to the lake. Big size room, comfortable bed, shower also clean and good quality, all in this rustic style house. The italian restaurant we didn't try as unfortunately just eat before, that we regretted as the ambiance and Italian host suggested excellent food... We were wery satisfied with our stay.

Very close to the train station, good connections. The restaurant is very good, although the waitress is a bit scary. Several bathing sites along Lake Konstanz at walking distance or accessible by train. There is not much to the village, so you have to travel/walk to get somewhere. If that's not a problem, it's a quiet and relatively cheap place to stay on the lake.

Bit old-fashioned, had to fix the shower myself (showerhead not attached). Room was very hot. I did have a brand new mattress though, so the bed was comfortable.

Dinner at the Pizzeria was delectable. Staff very nice and helpful.

Not the most scenic of locations, but very convenient for exploring Bodensee.

Not too much…

Sound control is zero… Radio in next door sounded loud, a couple engaging in amorous activity at 2 am was so noisy as if they were in our room. Not funny…

Beds are pretty hard/ thin mattress. BUT the restaurant scores full house. The most amazing pizzas we've had in our lives. Definetly worth it.

Better mattresses

The property was pleasant enough but nothing going on and no restaurant for dinner, breakfast was offered but on an ablib basis so we decided not to take it up.the property was clean and sufficed our needs.

The property was a little dreary and the room had no view. The facilities were basic. The location was on the main cycling route so it worked for us.

Excellent meal in the restaurant !The house wine was excellent also. We were looked after very well here, by the management and the staff !Great location, close to the lake!

Rooms slightly dated, but adequate,However the owner told me that he is having 30 rooms refurbished this winter, and so we will look forward to returning next year ?!!

I think we were the only people staying there and the receptionist when home after we checked in. an odd place but ok for one night.

Nice and friendly staff, clean room, good location.

It was an unpleasant surprise that there was no soap in the bathroom. No fridge in room was also inconvenient.
