this place was quiet and comfortable. It felt like staying at your grandmother‘s house in Italy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean. The view from the hotel room was wonderful as well. Brush up on your Italian or bring a translator app with you. The restaurant was very good. I’d highly recommend this place.

booking.com’s description says there’s a private pool, which is incorrect. The pool is available for the entire hotel. it’s still a wonderful place, but booking.com's description is inaccurate.

The hospitality was wonderful. The staff was extremely kind and attentive.

The bed was not comfortable. Mattress was too stiff, and the WiFi was weak.

Location is nice, quiet, green. Great value for money.

The bathrooms are far from the pool area. There are no pool services. The air conditioning system is central and often would stop working in the middle of the night and there was nothing that could be done.

The venue is very nice and cozy. The tower-like shape of the building in the middle of a silent countryside makes it pretty enchanting and peaceful place to spend a lovely weekend.

Not much. Spa bath was good.

Basic breakfast. Staff not very interested. This is not a place to stay out of season. A long way by car from the centre of Sarteano - not 0.6km as described - that must be to the outskirts -not walkable. Basic bed dressed up cheaply to resemble a four poster. Decor is to a certain taste - not ours - over the top - lamp in the form of a large black African servant.

Pleasant

They didn’t speak English at all. The room was ment to handicapped. Toilet seat was difficult to sit and so high that You almost needed stairs to use it. Checkout was 10 am.

What a perfect location! And family atmosphere, lovely owners! This hotel reminds me on my grandmother, everything nice and clean, of course in the classic style, every comfort you need is there! I booked a extra night because I'm just in love with this view.The garden and swimming pool are perfectly maintained!
