The personally managed 3-star Almhotel Bergerhof is located at around 4.1 feet above sea level on the peaceful, sunny slopes of Reinswald in the Sarntal Valley. Surrounded by meadows, forests and the South Tyrolean mountains, it is an ideal base for hiking, winter sports and relaxing days in nature. The 24 comfortable rooms are suitable for couples, families and solo travelers, and almost all have a balcony. In the restaurant, the host cooks personally, combining traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with Italian and Mediterranean influences. Guests can relax in the Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation room and heated outdoor whirlpool. The Reinswald ski and hiking area is around three miles away. - Amazing at every detail. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever been. The place is just amazing and the place so warm, makes you feel cozy. The views just breathtaking!!They were really attentive with our baby and even had a chair for her ready at breakfast. I hope we have the chance to return. The breakfast delicious and very varied. - Very cozy and nice hotel in a calm and peacefull valley. We had a late arrival and everything was managed to feel very wellcomed there :) Fresh and nice breakfast, and very nice dinner. We enjoyed this place a lot!

- The restaurant closes at 20hs and we arrived later. But we were informed on behalf so no issues. We ordered a pizza from the nearest restaurant and was delicious.
- Just you have to prepare to take your needs early before 5 pm if you planing to not depend on hotel because the hotel not in a city.
- A little lack of variety on the sweet side of breakfast. Some first courses a little too simple.

Breakfast was good. Dinner was good - salad was very good - we especially appreciated some second courses and desserts. Room was very spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed all the time. The wellness area was small but cozy for 2 people, which was always the case due to COVID-19 restrictions. Place very nice and quiet.
