- Clean, spacious room and comfortable bed. Airconditioning system extremely quiet. Friendly staff. Very nice location.
Cons -
- Not enough sockets, the only ones to use are behind the bedside unit.
- The hotel itself, nothing bad about it. Just the narrow rd getting there is a little tight. All is good though.
- Drain in our bathroom sometimes smelly. Stray dogs outside barking a lot early in the morning.

Clean, spacious room and comfortable bed. Airconditioning system extremely quiet. Friendly staff. Very nice location.

Ideally located on the outskirts of Sao Bras but easy to find. Good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff
Neighbour's barking dogs
Great location with wonderful view. Very friendly staff. Good value for money - not super luxurious but it’s not claiming to be! Nice meal in the restaurant- also good value for money.
Overall, our stay was excellent. Check-in was easy. The room was clean and decent size. The restaurant was delicious and worth the money. The picana was excellent. After dinner I asked a staff member about checkout as we were leaving early in the morning and they were very accommodating giving us instructions on what to do in the morning as there wouldn't be anyone at the counter. In the future, we will look to this place when needing a place to stay.
I booked a king suite and unfortunately felt smaller than the queen one we had stayed in during our last visit, and it had a better view. Even with this, our stay was great and will come back.
Gorgeous friendly hotel. Good sized room with private West facing terrace., very comfortable bed and fine bathroom. Strong WiFi. Staff were incredibly helpful getting us a taxi to the airport with a broken bike. We were able to store our bicycles securely overnight in a garage. Super breakfast buffet with huge variety of choice, bread, cakes, cheese and fruit options. Restaurant and pool have terrific views. 1.6 km walk to the village. Great value.
The hotel staff was nice, parking was plentiful and in general, the hotel was clean and nicely maintained.
The family room with 2 bedrooms had no view. One of the rooms had a window facing solar panels. The other did not have any window at all. Considering a rural location, we chose it to have a nice view but we didn't get any.
The staff and Team was very very Kind and friendly! We loved the pool, and taking the good breakfast on the outside terrasse, the food was freshly made and superb (esp. the grilled Fish and the all you can eat brazilian BBQ) - all levels of the Hotel and Restaurant can be accessed by a elevator- we would recommend Staying there.
We had a (Budget) room directly underneath the Restaurant on a Saturday. So sleep was a possible a bit later the Night. The Restaurant is very famous for its Food , which attracts a lot of people from the area- therefore: The number of parking slots is limited, so come early
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable accommodation, simple tasty breakfast, fantastic views
Clean; Quiet & staff amazing
A wee Bit tired looking
Staff very courteous
Due to its location, access to the hotel was a littleprecarious, due to access being via a single track lane. Several times I found cars / vans coming in the opposite direction at speed, resulting in having to take drastic action to avoid collision. Our room was smaller than anticipated, and although at check-in we were informed that we had a balcony overlooking the pool, we were in fact looking at a car park. We had a defective aircon unit in our room that dripped water whenever it was running, the only option was to turn off the aircon, but then the room was so hot it was not easy to sleep. We informed reception of the issue but throughout our stay, the unit remained defective
The peace and quiet and location and the opportunity to relax by the pool. It's worth noting that if you need to escape the pool, the nearby town of Sao Braz de Alportel is within 20 mins walk (wonderful museum telling the story of the town and it's cork industry) and there is a bus service between Loule and Sao Braz, the bus stop for which is about 7 mins walk from the hotel. Get a taxi from Faro airport to the hotel and you don't need a car for the rest of the time.
It is true as others have noted that the peace and quiet can be interrupted by the noise of barking dogs. However, these are within the boundaries of properties in the area and are not wild as some reviews suggest.
I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The carpet and upholstery on the chairs were stained and needed a good shampoo. Also the waterline of the swimming pool needed to be cleaned of what was obviously suntan cream. The pool itself looked sparkling clean which was spoilt by the greasy line around the tiles.
The pool was slippery. The stall owners management were very unhelpful. We got told the restaurants shut on Mondays and there’s no food. This is why we booked the hotel in the first place. I asked the desk if we could have a refund because there’s no point being here as there’s nothing to eat. we were not made aware of this as it was not on the Booking.com paperwork. The management were very very unhelpful they said they’re not giving us a refund. We should’ve read their website. We said we have booked with Booking.com not for them and the answer was all the time no refund eventually. I said we were prepared to come back tomorrow take the room that hasn’t been cleaned that we were in that wasn’t good enough either. I have never been treated so badly in the hotel rude nasty nasty people beware Bookers they’re all wolves in sheep’s clothing.
The pool And the restaurant, but the restaurant was closed on MONDAYS THE MANAGEMENT JUST DIDN’T GET THE POINT SURPRISINGLY
Everything was brilliant.I found this lovely hotel on the side of a hillside with great views. Thanks to wonderful staff Danielle, Jack Marcus & Joeannes. I only stayed a night before flying home the next day after a 12 day road trip.Stayed in 8 different hotels and this was by far the best.Always happens...you find the best place on the last day. Why it has only 3 stars I don't understand. Should have 5 stars. Only €15 by Uber from Faro airport. Brilliant Brazilian bar b q. Pure chill out. 10/10 .
Nothing to dislike..perfect.
The stay was lovely. Bed was comfy and room was great and had good view. Swimming gets a lil dirty with flies and all bu
Clean. Staff is very friendly.
Fake grass around the pool, air conditioning in the room has a green annoying light and it's on top of the bed. deposits for towels and for an extra key.
Lovely place situated above Faro. The nearby town is rather quaint
We suffered an unfortunate incident no fault of anyone’s pertaining to the AC. It was dealt with
The hotel was good and the accommodation very comfortable. The bar and restaurant facilities were interesting. the opening times for the bar were inconsistent and only opened of an evening except for a Monday when both restaurant and bar is completely closed which is odd for a hotel. One staff member ( a young man) could only be described as surly when asked to do anything or answer questions which was off putting but the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. This establishment is a little out of the way, so you definitely need your own transport but the peace and tranquilly as a result is worth it. The pool area is quite nice
As above, one of the staff members had an interesting attitude...more customer service training needed
