Hotel Raffael PHG

The WiFi and air con did not work properly. The hotel is quite a distance from restaurants and beaches. The hotel is definitely overpriced for what you get for the room and breakfast.

Good location, convenient, and pleasant staff

Beds very stiff, rooms dated, “air conditioner” barely functional

Location and a kitsch vibe due to the “oldness” of the hotel.

There is no Wi-Fi available, exception made for the reception

Quiet place, smiley, and professional staff, clean room. Sardininian cheese and sausage was good but you can have it from any local supermarket.

Breakfast was really bad, old cakes, raw cakes, bland cakes, really poor variety, really cheap and sad ham, no fresh juice or fruit. There was only sintetic juice from concentrated sugar and a soggy old fruit salad. No option for scarambled eggs, or any hot food for breakfast. No food/drink service in the swimming pool which also had no supervision. Guests have to go and grab, and carry their drinks which I don't think is part of any 4 star service. Swimming pool also had no supervision. There was a delivery lorry parked blocking the way to the breakfast area in the morning when they had plenty of space around it. Too many details are missing for a 4 star hotel.

Fairly close to the beaches. Spacious and quiet room Nice garden. Nice coffee at breakfast made to order. The property has a homey feeling.

The air-conditioning barely worked and it was very noisy. Also, we were asked to leave the keys with reception every time we were going out which was a bit strange to be honest. The cable TV did not work in our room unfortunately. The rooms and the restaurant are a bit outdated tbh.

Spacious room, spotless clean, very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent food, beautiful pool area.

The property has nice location and very nice welcoming people

The property is dated. The AC is old and doesn’t work well. Thus it is hot and humid at the same time. For this reason the room had a terrible smell of something and it was hard to breath. We booked another property one hour after checked-in because we couldn’t imagine to sleep in these environment. Of course, money wasted

The location was great, few minutes walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times.

I think it would be nice to have also table on the balcony (there was only a chair and the view on the street isn’t the nicest.. but I haven’t come to Sardinia to spend time in my hotel room. So it didn’t bother me.

Great staff, peaceful location, comfortable room and nice gardens and pool area. The perfect place to chill and enjoy.

We landed in Alghero and drove all the way to Bosa and Pitzu Idu.Just randomly we picked up Raffaelo hotel, and what a good choice.Staff very helpful, and after a short walk from the hotel you are by the sea, with beautiful views.Breakfast was fine, wifi free and working.

Is not just at Raffaelo, we came to learn that is the norm in other hotels, a double or matrimonial bed is actually two single stuck together.

Good and quiet location (10 minutes walking from the beach, 15 minutes to the centre), safe parking place inside the hotel area, very good breakfast, nice and polite personal, nice and clean swimming pool, clean and spacious room (Sea Suite) on the top floor of the hotel.

The sea suite room should be better equiped - more practical furniture (for example bedroom is very spacious and almost completely empty), the sofa in the living room was old and damaged, the TVs were not very good quality (considering the price for sea suite). The 360 degrees terrace looks great, but its not very practical due to the almost non-stop wind.

Room was ok, I liked the location. I paid 250 per night, massively overpriced. It should have been less than n half.

Swimming pool incredibly small, restaurant with limited menu and very expensive, air conditioning was broken so I ended up moving room for one night and be sent back. It was not electronic fault, it was lack of cleaning and crusty inside. It was solved with chemicals which left the room smelly for two days. In the morning cigarette smoke would come in the room through the vent in the bathroom. Air conditioning and fridge were incredibly noisy and the curtain was short so I’d be woken up by light very early. One morning I picked a packet of 2 biscuit from the breakfast buffet to make it easier later with my little boy, as it was steady 40 degrees Celsius outside and difficult to go out. I was stopped and asked to put them back, after all the above that I entertained patiently and kindly. Works go again for 1/3 of the price. Highly disappointed

Very nice hotel with a lot of space outside. Furthermore we had an upgrade when we arrived which was sooo nice from the staff at our arrival so we had a very nice room with a terrace and a nice view on the garden.

Lovely hotel, clean, comfortable, a few minutes walk from the beach. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

Perfect Service at the reception - they stored our SUP without any problems, they can speak very good English, what is not standard in Italy, silence and smily atmosphere, not to much people,good beds, tasty breakfast, few meters from wonderful sand beach.

Everything was OK!

A very nice, clean hotel very close to the beach. A small pool but enough for everyone. Wonderful employees, very kind and welcoming. Large parking lot.Thank you for letting us stay at the pool after check-out.

Comfy bed, nice looking room and nice staff. Breakfast was also tasty.
