Cons -
- This hotel was very loud at night. The keys are all metal and the hotel echos in the hallways. At 3am lots of people arrived to the hotel and for about an hour the noise of keys unlocking doors sounded so extremely loud. It Woke my room up. Breakfast you have to book the day before even if it’s slow which is a little inconvenient but understandable.
- Quite noisy, so if you're a light sleeper be prepared.

This is an extraordinary hotel. Very nice design of rooms, especially one on thirst floor with round window. Welcoming lady on reception. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Parking. Many restaurants and grocery nearby, and 10 min walk to the beach.
Great location that was short walk to the beach. Friendly staff and comfortable room.
It is a cool historic building that is walking distance from the beach, stores and cafes. The staff was very nice and we rooms clean.
It was all good.
Good location for early flight at Asturius Airport and seafront walkable distance.
Rather noisy location.
Pleasant
Very loud - noise came from the street and traffic even though the windows were closed as well as from the room next door.
It's an excellent place to oversleep after a long drive, close to the main road. There is a glossary store on the same street, which is convenient.
Internet connection should be better.
large room , plenty choice for breakfast .private parking .
Clean and comfy beds but very noisy for a good nights rest ( especially on the camino) it’s located on a very busy road.

The parking is very useful, the location of the hotel is very good if you want to stay near Aviles and visit the around area.
The place is older that what you imagine when you look the pictures. Soundproofing is very bad.
Quaint historic hotel, superbly restored with beautiful wood staircase, floors, doors, trim and furniture, and new custom tile bathroom with modern fixtures. It also has a small but modern elevator. Our corner room included nice fully opening windows on two sides, with full height windows looking out toward the hillside and half-height, with privacy glass on the lower row of panes and blackout curtains looking over the parking lot and street, as well as fully opening windows with privacy glass in the bathroom. Parking was plentiful, though stall markings were too narrow. Breakfast was extra and included hand-crafted espressos, orange juice, small egg and sausage patties and various bread and pastries. The dining area was large and fully enclosed with windows and sliding glass doors on all 3 sides.
We had some difficulty at check in due to our lack of Spanish proficiency, but the clerk was able to get someone on the phone that helped translate for us.
Very comfortable room
I was fluent in Spanish whey I was 15 I chose to learn Spanish instead off Irish But I never used it and my first holiday to Spain was with young children to Majorca in my thirties and didn’t like because I forgot the language and the place was hectic with non likeable tourists Astorias is a special place On all your notifications in the hotel please put English underneath
3 friends on motorbike holiday, arrived wet and tired, but hotel was great
It was raining from santander to hotel, not your fault
Good location, fabulous beach a superb place to spend two nights on our Iberian motorcycle tour. Very friendly and informative hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodation on the edge of town, and very close to the railway station good for a day out in Aviles.
Could be a bit noisy with early morning traffic.
The staff was really nice, the hotel has charming, it was extremely clean and well maintained.
It is beautifully decorated and the location is fab plus the smell in the halls was amazing! The owner was a lovely lady who was very friendly.
Location was very good and breakfast was superb
Interior walls are thin and do not block internal sound. I heard minimal outside noise
Rustic property with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with extensive choice of gluten free which had been pre-requested. Close to local train station for visits to towns and cities. Free parking
