Good value for money for one night on a road trip

The food and drinks machine in the hotel lobby likes to take money without returning what you ordered, and staff tells you they are not responsible for your financial loss. Besides this adventure, it was a pleasant stay

We asked the receptionist when we arrived in the evening if we could book breakfast in morning - he said no need to - just tell them in the morning. In the morning the new (much more helpful) receptionist said it was difficult because we hadn’t booked - but we went in and had a few things for breakfast but not really anything left as we were t expected.

Hotel accepts dogs; friendly nightwatchman.

There was confusion regarding the possibility of having breakfast with our dog. While it’s clear that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, there should be a designated space for guests with dogs to enjoy their breakfast. The staff member directing us asked us to have breakfast outside. This is acceptable if the weather is nice, but what if it rains? Unfortunately, this rather rude individual was not well-informed, and we later learned we should have been allowed to have breakfast inside. This experience was not pleasant.

Easy to get there, outside of Perpignan. Very quiet place to rest. Free and ample parking. Super friendly staff received us and even helped us to ask for dinner. Super clean. Optimal price/value

The towels were stain with blood and dirt, was the only unpleasant part

A large room on the ground floor, a very comfortable bed with a superb shower and air conditioning.The breakfast was excellent, good parking and easy access into town.The best budget hotel that I've stayed at. Greeted on arrival by the proprietor who gave very helpful tips on restaurants/bars which were most welcome as we'd just driven 450 miles.Will definitely return on our next visit.Thank you.

Rooms are very small.

We didn’t stay as the hot water was broken and they sent us to another hotel.

The staff didn’t speak any english and it was so hard to communicate with them in terms to find another place for us to stay. We were 7 people and they booked 7 rooms at the new hotel which we had to cancel when we got there as we only wanted 3 rooms. Everything was a mess!

Quite cold when we came, few pillows and we couldn’t turn on any heaters but overall fine.

Staff a bit chaotic about our reservation (we got there in the morning). Bit noisy too.

One important factor is that most hotels in this chain have secure car parks which is quite important given that the chain hotels are generally located close to industrial zones of large towns. This chain of hotels can also be relied upon to provide a good standard of accommodation and are ideally suited to overnight stops.

All B & B Hotels appear to have the same problem concerning Wi-Fi. It is time consuming and an unnecessarily fussy procedure to get logged in. Once in, the connection drops if you stop using it for a few moments and you have to go through the whole long logging in procedure again. I tend to make a great deal of use of the internet and email when travelling and must therefore consider using an alternative chain.
