    Pros +

    • We had booked as part of an anniversary and birthday trip but even though we were the only dinner guests management could not do enough.Chilled wine outside as the afternoon sun went down, a lovely meal cooked just for us. And on top of a room upgrade to a large comfortable suite that oozed old world French grandeur. Many thanks to all concerned :-) x

    • Location is perfect if you want peace. Green and very silent peaceful enviroment. If you like historical buildings or want to experience very old French country house it is perfect! We had dinner which was extraordinary good! Haven't had such good food in long time! :)Staff was very helpful with everything we needed. Room we had was very very old but comfortable and had a lot of space and small kitchen.Pool was very nice and all surrounding the pool was fantastic, we loved that we were almost alone there with absolute silence so it was very very relaxing.

    Cons -

    • Unfortunately the event I was attending was cancelled and the hotel declined to refund my room which had been paid in full.
    • We knew we will have very old room which was totally fine but it had that "very old" smell which was quite noticable and strong when we arrived. If you are sensitive to that it can be a lot. I dont know how hotel can fix that but maybe some replacement of curtains and refreshment of furniture could help (other rooms didnt have that). We had to wash all our clothes when arrived home and even luggage to remove the "moist old smell". Bed and all was totally fine and fresh. No problem from us as it was expected from old building, but maybe it will help someone :)
    • Price of the dinner was too high. Especially the kid's menu was too expensive (25€ for pastas chicken & ice).Nothing else was wrong, great place to stay!

Fantastic environment, warm welcome from the staff, quiet place, amenities in the room, accepts the dogs. We could feel at home in such a unique property. We could have a great walk with the dog all around their park

Charming manoir set in beautiful garden with a very nice pool. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Dinner with wine on the terrace is well presented and good quality.

Unfortunately, due to the intensive agriculture surrounding the hotel, there were many flies which were a nuisance in the afternoons.

quiet location yet close to autoroute.good evening meal and breakfasta relaxing place to stay

spiral staircase to our room on second floor was not the easiest to access. not a problem but needed care

Little piece of heaven in the middle of Burgundy, will come back for sure!

Having the gardener mowing the loan before checkout (starting at 10am) is a pity…would have been nice to just wait for another hour without noise. It was impossible for me to enjoy the quiet of the place in the morning ?‍♀️

The staff were lovely and helpful and the setting very attractive with a beautiful pool. The Table d’Hôtes dinner was great too!

Although the beds were v. comfortable, the room was badly furnished and looked like a repository for furniture that nobody much wanted, but was not in any way useful. The studio (sleeps 4) with kitchenette had no microwave, very little cutlery/crockery, no dining table and not much in the way of seating. The room we moved from (after complaining) was gloomy, stifling and had a broken blind on the only velum window and also had no closed off bathroom (I hate that!)

This historic family run property is lovely. We stayed in converted outhouses, with a very large en-suite bedroom and attached kitchen with full facilities for self catering, but chose a set evening meal on the terrace near the swimming pool. The meal was good but not exceptional, but also not costly. The property is pretty, with some medieval parts, and set in attractive grounds

Incredibly beautiful location. Staff were helpful with us in dealing with a crisis, allowing us to stay and use the hotel facilities after checking out, whilst we waited 9 hours for a tow truck for our broken down car. We had a spread from the kitchen, and it was incredible.

Slightly creepy vibe. The place felt dead. No guests other then ourselves. No one to receive us at check-in, we just walked around for a while, and eventually I found someone in the kitchen. Rooms don't really feel like a four star place, very very basic.

Hard to find- address on booking.com website is incorrect. Bedroom ok. Dinner good although excellent . Staff friendly

    Dinner expensive

Loved the relaxed feel of the place. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very kind attentive staff. There was a slight problem with the bill but it was dealt with efficiently so not a problem. Loved the grounds.

We were OK with the steps but steps up to the room and steps up to the bed were steep and could have presented problems.

Lovely Grounds and setting of Chateau. Great Pool. Restaurant serves great food. Really pleasant and friendly waiter.

The classic room was very basic. Monastic. Would not want to stay longer than one night there.

We arrived at the Chateau on a lovely sunny evening, and the sight of the building and surrounding gardens was beautiful. We were greeted by a lady who spoke English to make it easier for us to check in and was very helpful in getting us some fresh milk for our tea.We were shown to our room via one of the tower staircases and found a well equipped room with a view over the swimming pool and sun deck. The power shower was outstanding, and a real experience with a choice of side showers, overhead or hand shower.A walk in the garden and a rest in one of the many hammocks slung between the trees was a treat not to be missed.

The grounds were great when travelling with dogs

The pool was not filled, the staff, although friendly are still learning their jobs.

Very sympathetically restored 16th century chateau retaining many original features. Very comfortable and elegant .

The dinner , a table d’hote 3 course meal, was beautifully served but perhaps not entirely to our taste. Three of us had pork which was very fatty . One of us had fish which was excellent.

    Failed to perform contract

Failure to provide accommodation or answer the phone or be present at the property. Well it would have been great if there was someone at the property - we paid upfront - had the booking and our requests confirmed but when we tried to check in there was no one there - we waited for an hour - we rang the number of the hotel on the reception office and we tried contacting Booking.com too! No one picked up the phone! So they have taken our money and failed to honour the contract by providing accommodation!

Beautiful setting in the countryside, pretty old chateau with space to wander around the grounds.

Not a very warm welcome, lead to room and handed key with no explanation of facilities, breakfast, etc.Breakfast is very poor, €17 and the only warm option is eggs you have to boil yourself and awful coffee. You would get better in a petrol station for €3.The room itself was depressing, open shower in the room with a small toilet room, the bed was small and tv from 20 years ago. I would not recommend this place, it is quite depressing once you get past the pretty facade.
