Hotel Kristl

It's not a 2-stars hotel, but rather a USRR-style dormitory. The whole facility didn't have any rework done over the last 50 years and would need a deep and profound renovation. Bad smells, carpets with suspicious spots, mold everywhere in the shower, towels with dirty staines, toilet not fully functional. Don't expect reception available for fixing your issues as it should always be engaged over phone

It's so clean hotel with really nice personal. I open new nice place for me in Pardubicie ,I was really joining my time. And more thanks for early check-in.

We are embarrassed by the service of Hotel Kristl. Starting with the tragic contact (for several days we have been asking for a correctly issued invoice, which is needed for settlement in the sports club, through the lack of possibility of contact when we were standing in front of the facility with the whole family and could not get inside (no contact via the intercom, no one answers the phone and no one has called back to this day). What happened to us after opening the door to the room caused a gag reflex. The carpet was so dirty, as if people working in the field lived there. The stench of cigarettes was so overwhelming that the children started crying that they did not want to sleep there. As if I found myself in some pub from the 90s. Everything stank. Bedding, pillows, the next day our clothes. My son could not sleep because of the smell and the cold. The next day he had a competition from early morning. The radiators were turned off, so I allowed myself to turn them up to MAX. As it turned out later, they heated with a maximum temperature of about 30 degrees (which means the effect was smaller than the person giving off warm). We had some kind of party behind the wall until late. You could hear everything they were talking about, how they were laughing (I didn't understand because of the language). They fell silent around 3 o'clock at night. We travel a lot because of sports competitions. We use hotels on average 3 times a month. We have never seen anything like this before. We were supposed to spend 2 nights with you, luckily something came up and we only slept one. In my opinion, we should receive a full refund of the accommodation costs, because you did not lose money on our stay in terms of providing heating, cleaning, food and customer service, while we paid for a service that significantly fell short of generally accepted standards.

Basic accommodation just outside the centre of Pardubice. No staff available. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean. No frills.

Towels were old and tiny. No access to a kettle.

It's a quiet environment and clean rooms. The price is nothing to complain about. But the place is only for one night stop over.

A little bit off. The description says it's walking distance from central Pardubice, which is Wrong! The beds could be more comfortable...

I was impressed with the hotel given the bad reviews. Not sure what everyone was so upset about. The rooms were clean. Water pressure was great and hot water was good. Showers were very clean, which I really appreciated. Free towels. Good breakfast selection and it was free! It isn't a 5-star hotel, but, for the money, it's a nice little space. And they even had tvs. Access instructions were clear.

The reception wasn't terribly friendly. We asked them to call us a cab and they acted like it was absurd.. The only other problem I had was the distance from the pardubice main station, but, they can't change that.

All roms need a big renovation.i have booked a room with a double bed and 2 single beds and for my surprise i just have access to 2 single bed as the door room with a double bed was locked.yes my room had 2 doors one for 2 single bed and other for a double size bed i suppose .For the price i have paid i was expecting much better.Also the reception desk its not visible from the entrance hall ,you need to open a door and then knock the reception door , how weird is this?

Location was excellent. Breakfast was nice inclusion.

One of the rooms (203) smelled strongly of heavy, recent cigarette smoking which was unpleasant. The other two rooms were okay.

I liked the price. Interior design was okay.

I asked for a room with one big bed and got 2 seperate ones. Also there is no heating in a bathroom, and i think whole room could look better with little furniture rearangment. But overall it was positive.

Comfortable room and nice staff but the price is very expensive! I travel all over the Czech Republic and it is the most expensive I have paid in the meantime. The place is cheap compared to others in the city, but expensive compared to any other city. There is a strong smell of cigarettes.

The administrator was kind enough to order us a taxi to get to the airport early in the morning. That's about it.

We booked a Family room with shower because of it's size (24 m2). We were hoping to get a little more space by booking this soft of room. In reality, the room was divided in two sections (two separate rooms, one of which was locked. So instead of a spacious room we got to stay in a small dormitory-type room. Another disappointment was the smell. I have no idea who stayed there before us but when we came in, there was a smell of stinky sweaty socks in the room. We took it since it was a 5-hour stay before an early flight, but wouldn't take it again.
