Great quiet location, fresh breakfast and a possibility to enjoy the dinner (there is a restaurant). We stayed with our little dog and really enjoyed it

£20 charge per dog that does not state on the booking.com - it should do, and we should be aware prior to booking of the amount

Lovely location by beautiful Obersee, Nice terrace overlooking the lake, where we had a drink in the evening an breakfast in the morning.

Beautiful location at the lake. Very good breakfast at the terrace. Spacy room. Comfortable bed. My stay was too short to use all options.

Good for holidays, but quite far for stay during the trip.

Lovely setting, staff were excellent and helped us. Food was very good. Traditional German family run hotel and restaurant- very nice. Beautiful lake opposite also.

Very nice stay in beautiful nice old, historic hotell with friendly staff Just in beuatiful surroundings. Just the way we want it when we visit Germany.

We still have nightmares about the depressing bird cage in the reception area. It is very sad, luckily the rooms are cleaned more often.#freethebirds

Great location by the lake, fancy interiors in the restaurant.

The staff weren't too friendly, ticks in the garden, no mosquito nets in the room, no bicycle parking.

Breakfast was wonderful!

Arrived close to 11pm and it was dark as a hole in the ground, till i made to the reception using my cel phone flash light, my room was on a building " beside" they didn't offered any help or at least guide to the building! After walking 5 minutes with baggage and entering neighboard house decide to go in again and ask for help! Saving to the last cent not installing motion sensors for light just made me understand customer is not king in compare with management pockets! Will not return! Also noisy wood floor is not really nice on this aged property. Also no shower just a tub

The price was a little less than usual but the hotel was above other hotels.

Beautiful location, excellent rooms and facilities, the lake is clean and so beautiful. the breakfast was good and the restaurant have good food, coffee and cakes. best value for the price.

The big problem is that this is a restaurant more than a hotel so all the pics of the spaces are actually of the restaurant and we couldn't use them. Moreover the owners told us that it wasn't possible to eat any food inside the premises except the one from the restaurant... so we definitely do not recommend this hotel unless you stop for 1 night and obviously eat at their restaurant. (The salty breakfast was good but there weren't sweets at all)

Location of the hotel and restaurant terraces facing the lake. Staff, especially breakfast staff is very friendly. Breakfast buffet is rich and hearty. Honeymoon suite where we stayed two nights is spacious overlooking the lake, very clean and quiet. Guests seem to be mostly regulars.

Overnight stay is not suitable for those who are sensitive to smells, the restaurant is ubiquitous. Hot water circulation (heating and hot water in the bathroom) is completely switched off just before midnight. No problem for early risers or cold showers. However, the claim to sustainability has not been consistently implemented.

The location is great. The room is very nice

1. It was VERY cold in the room!!! I was freezing! 2 blankets helped to sleep, but showering was almost impossible because once I turned off the water I froze!2. The breakfast isn't good. Nothing warm. The selection is very poor.

Nothing so special. First impression at reception was strange. She was not happy to welcome, could see in her face...would be my last option in this region.

The attitude of the lady in the reception. She was not welcoming...shouldn't be in service...may be she is not happy for what she is doing.

Unfortunately, the room had a stench of cig, and the rugs did not seem clean at all. The reception area was also reeking of alcohol.

Lovely location, super friendly staff, great food. The staff pretty much only speak German and we hardly speak again, yet they made us feel very very welcome and did their best to give us what we wanted.

They did not reply to our e-mails before we went and i suspect it was because they did not understand them, perhaps google translate may help us next time.

A nice place near a lake with beautiful nature. There is a restaurant at the hotel so you can get dinner in the evening as well. Good choice for breakfast.

Wi-fi was not working properly during our stay.
