Dinner was excellent-as was the pre-ordered breakfast.

Having to kill 8 wasps in the room as soon as we arrived! Only 1 wasp in the morning.

The location is great and quiet. The staff was friendly and gave us a lot of information. It's a great place for a large family for a night. We've booked the same room for our journey back home.

Carrying two big luggages to the second floor is not easy.

Didn't like the pricing for the breakfast because it wasn't clear or consistent with how much you ordered per person from a vague menu. We would have preferred a set menu for a set price.

The staff who can speak English was surly like soldiers. But the others who cannot speak English were smiling and polite.

Hotel close to A3 highway. Very practical for a stopover. Friendly staff, good value dinner and breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. Comfortable beds.

The whole building, including the room and restaurant smelt cigarette. This was really odd and the only, but considerable negative point. I cannot really explain how this happened as, like everywhere in Germany and the EU, smoking inside is forbidden.

The hotel is in a picturesque village with a magnificent view. The host was kind enough to give us a kettle and mugs for us to make our own tea.Our dog was also welcome for a 8 euro fee.

It's a non smoking hotel but because the smoker's area is right outside the main door the smell reaches even the first floor where our room was. The restaurant has a lingering smell of ashtrays. Pity for such a nice hotel.

The location is convenient for the motorway. The room was clean and adequate.

The attitude of the person booking us in on arrival could benefit from some customer service training.Although the opening hours of the restaurant are stated at the very bottom of both the confirmation e mail and of the booking .com page, it really needs to be made much more prominent and near the beginning. After an 8 hour drive to find the restaurant was not open that day and we would have to drive to find a meal and a hot drink meant we would not have booked a room at this place. Furthermore on the days that full facilities are not offered perhaps the price should be adjusted accordingly.

The location is ideal, not too far off the motorway. The restaurant serves delicious food, at reasonable prices. If you wish to order breakfast, not included in the room price, you choose from a list of items.

The room would have benefitted from not having dead flies on the window sill. Other than that the room was clean. This is not my first stay here but this is the first time I remember being charged for a parking space on what appears to be their own property. Rather disappointed with that.
