- Staff, facilities style and gardens, beautiful site. Relaxing
- Beautiful house and location and decoration, super comfy bed and large room and bathroom. Loved the crickets and frogs outside of the house. Staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. Unfortunately we could not use the other facilities like pool and sauna as we were out the whole days. But for ppl who want to have a great and relaxing holiday in a beautiful environment, this is the place!
- This is a lovely hotel. It was super quiet, as we were there during the off-season. The room was perfect: spacious, super clean, and with extremely comfortable beds. The fan and air conditioning worked great. The staff at check-in were really friendly. Parking was easy and secure. It is a nice location for a quick escape from Madrid and is easy to find. The town was pretty, and there were a lot of trails nearby for hiking. The breakfast was delicious and complete, and the staff who worked the breakfast service were accommodating and friendly. We were particularly impressed with the spa. It was super clean, and the ambiance was very relaxing. We loved the circuit and thought it was a really great value. We had massages, and Susanna was incredible! We would come back just to have a treatment from her again!
Cons -
- Nothing beats my mind
- Unfortunately English was not spoken. Breakfast is from 9 am only so we had to rebook a breakfast box which was I guess forgotten, so we got a quickly prepared box… and then decided to wait for breakfast, but it was fine. No coffee facilities in the room but they provide freshly made coffee for free, which was nice!
- We were super disappointed in the hotel's restaurant. It's the only reason the review is a 9 instead of a 10. We booked a dinner because it's a long walk from the hotel to the town where all the other bars/restaurants are, and because we were celebrating a special occasion. The food was just plain bad; it was extremely overpriced for the quality. The waitress we had on the night we ate at the restaurant was incredibly rude and inattentive. Because it was low season, we were the only ones in the restaurant, and it was very clear she wanted us to leave so she could go home (she asked us what we wanted to drink before we even sat down/saw a menu and began cleaning the restaurant while we were still eating). It was one of the worst meals I've had in Spain, considering how bad the food, service, and price were. It would have been really convenient to eat at the restaurant for more nights, but after our first meal, we cancelled our other reservations. We had much better food and much better service in town for half the price.

Like always when we stay at this hotel the service was impeccable, we really appreciated how the team helped us with a few requests we had for our 1 year old.Rooms are very spacious, beds comfy, and the environment is just beautiful. Great place to disconnect from busy urban life. One minor thing to improve for us would be to start breakfast earlier than 9am.
Room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is large and has good functions. Staff are nice and helpful.
Location is quite remote and no much facility nearby. The building is a litte bit worn out and not as good as those shown.
The hotel is a renovated old building set in the hillside with beautiful views.
You literally pay extra for everything which is very disappointing, I’m in the travel industry and for the prices and 4 star (local) rating they sadly disappoint.Yes it has a spa BUT it’s $21 per adult per hour, so it’s not included in your stay as so many other hotels are. So for 3 people to really relax you are looking at €120 plus.It doesn’t stop there, breakfast is included but it’s a small plate of cheese and ham enough for 1 person and a pastry basket, everything else is payable. If you want any type of egg or bacon etc it’s payable and note the 10% service which is not optional. We received orange juice the first day and none after that! Watch out for the so called - eat in our restaurant and get 10% discount, if you don’t book (the restaurant was empty) you don’t get it, very strange. We found better restaurants in the nearby town. The so called free mini bar is a 250ml bottle of water and a coke, not refilled after your first night, if you want water by the pool it’s payable in tiny bottles, whereas other hotels offer free jugs of regular water, here it’s all payable. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so to get into the nearest town you have to organise the 5 min (and yup payable taxi to the hotel)I have to say all these extras leave a really bad taste in your mouth. The location on the terrace and poolside is beautiful and rooms are large (but tired) so an unbiased travel review is that it’s not worth the price especially when there are much better truly inclusive options. We had a wonderful 3 day stay but as a travel expert it’s only fair to write an honest review for anyone looking at the hotel.
The surroundings, large room, cosy classic style decoration.
large spaces to enjoy your stay with comfort the swimming pool and the spa are impressive great views ideal place to disconnect and relax
the food is not at the level
We had an amazing and relaxed weekend with friends. Good location to start hikes and relax in the spa! Restaurant was really good as well and the staff was really helpfull. ?
The room was fantastic, very large and great bathroom. The location is great, nice and peaceful but not too far from Madrid and Escorial etc. great views, staff were very helpful.
Nothing really.
Breakfast was very good
Bed was uncomfortable with lumpy mattress. No internet connection in the bedroom, which the hotel didnt rectify
The views, the spa, the breakfast, the size of the room (standard)
The staff and the environment was excellent. The suite was very nice and comfortable. Great place to stay for a night or two.
The covered parking was full of birds, which left their droppings all over the cars. The room was also a little too warm
Relax, facilities, food
A very peaceful and scenic location, excellent outside pool and terrace, a spacious spa and a good restaurant.
excellent rooms, restaurant and Staff
all was good.
The staff in the restaurant and breakfast space is fantastic, going beyond your expectations. The environment is quiet, perfect for relax
Staff in reception is much improvable. One was super nice while 2 others not customer-oriented at all. One employee made a mistake taking bote of our spa booking (she recognized the mistake afterwards) and in between the colleague wanted to charge us the spa saying we were not able to cancel, and she said that in a very rude way, not nice at all, and not waiting for the colleague to come back to clarify. There has been also some misunderstanding with the time we could leave the room and same, not friendly at all communicating with us. While staff in the restaurant and during breakfast was fantastic, paying attention to every detail to make you feel comfortable.
Very spacious room, with free mini bar. Breakfast was simple but good enough.
The room was very hot specially for a winter day. We had to turn on the aircon even though it was 4° outside.
War , cozy room with nice furnishings, rugs, great armchair. Bathroom very spacious znd well-litNice detail of coat rack by the door.
The noise in the toof at night. It sounded lije mice. The noise woke me up.
The room was big, clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff friendly and helpful. All the natural area around Robledo de Chavela and the whole Sierra Oeste de Madrid is awesome
I would like the breakfast to include wholemeal bread (pan integral)
