The water from the pool was cold, but understandable as is near to the mountains

It seams nice in the pictures. But not worth. No airconditioner. No fan! No elevator. No parking

Friendly and comfortable hotel. Easy free parking 1 min walk from the hotel. 10 minute walk to restaurant and bars.

Lovely location. Friendly owner. Very calm and peaceful.

The breakfast was very basic. No cheese, ham, eggs which you have in other hotels in Spain which are less expensive.You also had to have your own towels for the pool. You couldn't use the hotel ones.No free water or tea/ coffee facilities.

I came in for a wedding. The Palacio was beautiful and my stay there was excellent. The ambience, atmosphere and surroundings are heavenly. Great breakfast. Excellent staff. I yearn very much to return there.

The hotel is an attractive old building situated in a small village surrounded by hills and mountains, I'm thinking of going back sometime to do some walking in the countryside around the village. We were travelling North to catch the ferry to Portsmouth from Santander and wanted an overnight stop within easy reach of Santander. The hotel is about 5 minutes off the A67 motorway, so access is quite easy. Fernando on reception was friendly and helpful. He kept apologising for his poor English, but it was good enough for us to easily understand him. The room was tastefully decorated and had a good view from the window. Breakfast was self service with typically Spanish items available, more than adequate.

No facilities for making hot drinks in the room.

Beautiful old Spanish house, large rooms and the garden is nice.

It was to old fashion for us. Beds were not that comfortable, very noisy (next to the garden lays an padel court, gras mowing and other maintenance in the garden at 8/9 in the morning, also the aria around the garden is very busy it’s next to an big park). Breakfast was very por; yam-butter-chees-ham-white toast bread-one sort of jus-koffie/thea, that’s it. Oh and some tomatoes on an plate, they did not serve it in slices, just tomato. No love or care in the food.l and way of serving it. For us the conclusion is; way way to expensive for what you get. Could be an wonderful place with some extra love and care!

Magnificent surrounds and spectacular building. Room large and airy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Towels were really bad - scratchy and hard - kind of let the experience down a little.
