Nice modern decor in the room and decent breakfast. We only used it for an overnight stop on our way to Italy and it was perfectly fine for our needs

Location is excellent, garden is a nice green oasis, pool is good. Breakfast is okay. Staff is friendly.

No lift so a heavy suitcase is not fun. The rooms that are not renovated are below par. Interior decoration is bad, brown colours, old old decoration, not lovely vintage but just plain old and ugly. Please get rid of the cushions, ugly colours, old shoes, knick knacks etc. The shower is not from this day and age anymore, having to hold the shower head to be able to take a shower is disappointing. Due to the old interior it doesn't feel clean. The restaurant is okay when you eat meat and or fish, if you don't then please go somewhere else as they don't know what to do with vegetarians.

Handy stop over if you're driving to Tuscany over 3 days from the UK. The swimming pool, quiet location by the river and comfy large triple room with big balcony made for pleasant relaxing stop over stay. When we first arrived there was a bit of a towel shortage, but the receptionist managed to conjure up some more by the time we got back from the restaurant. I would have liked to stay longer to explore the area.

Would be nice if the little town where the hotel is located had some places to eat an evening meal as the hotel restaurant is shut on the Sunday. We had to get back in the car for a short drive (3km) to a few.

Always very gratifying when a Hotel selected from a distance meets or even exceeds expectations, friendly staff who didn't make us feel awkward about our lack of French. Nice rooms with clean facilities and a good value Menu Du Jour to cap it all.

I hadn't researched the location sufficiently and was therefore a little disappointed

As we were travelling with a dog, we were given a disability room next to the main entrance and handy for the garden.

We had a problem with the sink in the bathroom. No plug and no cold water. We reported this to reception to be told that this complied with the regulations for a disability room. The tap appeared to be jammed so as only delivering hot water. Problem was reported to the manager who tried to find a plug - but failed to do so. Said that the tap was within regulations so could not do anything to rectify the problem, and never returned - strange !!Dinner was poor and it was noticeable that food was being returned to the kitchen.

Hotel situated on Holiday route & car parking adjacent to hotel.Room was clean & tidy, comfortable large double bed.

First room we were offered had a small double bed & the adjacent shower room smelt of drains, so we requested a change of rooms.Restaurant closed (Sunday), however Booking.com stated that room service would be available - not so . No room service on a Sunday evening either. So we had to travel 3-5 kms. to find a restaurant open.

Pleasant hotel in a peaceful setting next to the R Moselle. The food at dinner was good, the wine list included some interesting local wines. Nice buffet for breakfast. Our room was comfortable and our sleep was interrupterd only by other guests slamming their doors on the way to breakfast. Nice pool, good size, perfect temperature. The staff were young, welcoming and very helpful. Altogether a pleasant stay. we will go there again.

Lovely staff and nice heated pool. All very clean and comfortable. We had a nice dinner on the terrace and a good breakfast. Lovely quiet location but still close to the motorway. Lovely surroundings to go for a walk too!

Nearby the highway. Green enviroment, nice to walk with our dog.

Nicely located hotel with a very friendly owner and staff. We arrived late in the afternoon while a birthday party was taking place in the restaurant. Unfortunately we were informed that the restaurant was closed in the evening because it was a bank holiday. The owner did offer to make us a salad and some cold cuts which was very nice, but we had been hoping for a warm meal. Our room was fine and clean and had everything we needed. We were also able to leave our bicycles in the secure garage. Breakfast was very complete and very good.

It would have been good to know beforehand that the restaurant was closed that night, as that was one of the reasons i booked this hotel. After a long days cycling you don't always feel like going again to look for somewhere to eat. The breakfast was very good, but at 18 euros per/person much too expensive (on Booking.com is says 15 euros).

Great location...and a pool too!! Great evening meal and breakfast.

Arrival and impression of the hotel.

The room (2nd floor) was clean but severely outdated. No airco. Even after renovation it (=the hallways) looks cheap..The food was ok, but not good enough for the price.

Swimming pool was nice. The decor was quirky and nice.

Room was extremely warm. Dinner was an absolute scene, staff very uninterested in serving. Food was passable. Nearly impossible to get anyones attention. Breakfast was about what you would expect, fairly poor. Location was terrible. For the price of the hotel I would have expected much better.

Key fob failed continuously. Toilet too small to sit in couldn't shut the door. Shaved hair in sink. Looked very tired all round, although some rooms were under renovation. Hairdryer unsafe.

Quiet location with forest and river view. Clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Due to electric shades, we were able to get the room completely dark for a very nice sleep. Staff were very friendly from checkin to checkout…
