Wellnesshof Müller Vorderburg

This gasthof was in the perfect location for a stop on our Bodensee to Konigsee bike ride. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helped us complete our dinner when the only restaurant in town was closed and we couldn't bike another mile! The shared kitchen was a bonus and our room had a nice table and chairs. We appeciated the secure, indoor bike storage in the barn.

Our room was right off the reception/shared kitchen area, so it wasn't the most quiet, but we slept fine.

We only stayed for one night, but we had an amazing big room with a lovely balcony and kitchen and large bathroom. Everything was clean and we had a lovely stay.

The only thing that was missing, were curtains in front of the window/door to the balcony. Not only to block the first sunlight in the early morning, but also for privacy. Other than that, it was perfect!

Beautiful old hotel in the countryside. Great restaurant with lots of choice.

The check in was a bit off when we spoke English. We were treated better when we spoke in French during. Breakfast a bit limited with stale bread

Value for money, plus the quest was able to communicate effectively. Especially liked the option in the evening to sample the local beer, and it was reasonably priced as well as being nice to taste.

You could hear people walking on the second floor through the ceiling which was a bit disturbing when it was happening at night. TV remotes batteries were empty but that wasn’t a big deal.

Bavarian aesthetics, tidy room, comfortable bed, nice and spacious bathroom. Very friendly owner and staff. Shared kitchen with a possibility to make coffee, cook a meal etc.

Lovely large rooms, very homely feel. Friendly host. Everything we needed. Lovely location. Wished we had stayed longer.

When we arrived The front door was locked with a note with a phone number but as we didn’t have a phone we had to wait for another guest to come out the front door who rang for us. We did knock but no one answered even though they were inside. They really need a doorbell or intercom to greet guests.

Very nice hostess. She helped us book dinner. She helped herself to the local beer. Great atmosphere of the Bavarian countryside. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

very clean, comfortable bed, new and comfortable bathroom, fully equipped kitchen.quiet and nice place. the personel is helpful.

in the village they ask for cash everywhere (no card, typical to Germany), but there is no ATM nearby - this is not abut the room, not their fault, but be aware of that.the personel speaks German only which is a bit problematic when you are tired.

Nice clean apartment in a quiet environment. The room had a large bed with a fair matras. There was a table with two chairs. TV which I didn't use. Wifi was fair but not too fast.

Area very quiet - if you want action you have to make it yourself. Lacked a hairdryer

Our hosts were excellent. Everything ran smoothly. A welcoming beer on arrival. Motorbikes were kept safely in the garage overnight. They are upgrading the facilities so will be even better in the future

the people were really friendly and helpfule, location, relaxable, nature, and big green grass fields, the smell of nature, the village, the special village shop was close in 5min , walking, friendly peole. shame we didnt stay longer.

Friendly welcome. Very large room with massive bed. Great quality bedding and towels. Quiet village location, so slept really well. Would stay here again.

Don't remember the hotel details mentioning a kitchen for all guests to use. We would have taken something to cook if we had known. The signage to the property is rubbish, we drove past a couple of times before finding the right place.

The stuff was very nice and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and beautifuly decorated. The price was good and we were very pleased with our stay
