Seehotel Berlin-Rangsdorf

The accommodation is pleasant and we always choose it with confidence. The location is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Dogs are allowed for an extra fee, which is very important for us.

A downside is that a year ago the extra bed for a child was free of charge, and Booking.com also states that it is free, but after booking you receive a message saying you have to pay 30 EUR. Another drawback is that, considering the hotel is located just outside Berlin, the staff’s ability to communicate in English is not at a high level.

Very comfortable room and beds. Very nice location..

The restaurant food was very poor. The rump stake was old and tasted old. The baked potato was not fully cooked the mushroom soup was very salty .

Location is very calm and pleasant.Staff is nice and responsive: even though we arrived late at night, check-in went smoothly.

It can be a bit challenging to get to the hotel if you drive at night.

Staff was friendly but hotel is bad management or at last the room was not prepared correctly.

If you know that you have a excessive number of mosquitos in that area ... the management should fit Mosquitos repellents plug in or any other model... My wife has allergy and was hundreds of mosquitos inside room.

Close to highway to have a break from long driving. I chose this hotel for a second time. The first experience last year was great, which didn’t happen this time. Breakfast is good. Room is nice with comfortable bed. Hot chocolate to prepare in the room and a kettle.

Very mouldy shower. Haven’t been cleaned for a long time. It doesn’t match with Babor cosmetics set up in the bathroom. Very disappointing. Also, by mistake I was checked out at 7.30 (received emails thanking me for staying), which followed by housekeeping entering my room at 8, while I was still in bed. Not professional. Check out is at 11.00 and I wanted to rest after 1000 km driven the day before… didn’t happen. I would tell the receptionist all of this, but he didn’t even ask me if all was fine and only requested to pay for breakfast. Quite poor service for such a pleasant place. A little more attention to detail will do the trick.

Free parking, great accessibility from the highway, friendly and helpful staffs, and pet friendly.

There was no aircon in the room and I haven't checked it from the room specificities. My fault for not checking but I was expecting AC from a 4-star hotel. However, there was insect screen on the window so it was pleasant at night. Just not as pleasant during day time when it's 28 degrees.

well maintained hotel that probably was enjoying popularity in the past.... overall clean, had all the amenities, restaurant served good food (dinner) but breakfast was rather average... small selection at the buffet. The plus was a view on the lake and calm one can enjoy there....People working there were polite and helpful - good welcoming approach... Everything seemed to work fine... No issues during my one-night stay.

While the hotel itself was clean, one could tell that the area around, is just nothing special, but probably once it was a thriving, popular destination for Berliners or some other visitors.... It was a hot summer day but next door facilities by the lake were closed (not owned by the hotel)... couldn't get a small kayak nor any water-bikes etc.. to rent to take on the lake.... I felt the hotel could do additional business AND make the area more attractive - if they maybe took over that business or offered their own rental of small kayaks, small boats etc..... area felt depressed... hope I am wrong but it was middle of summer break...and relatively few people...

Wanted an overnight stay close to Berlin airport and this was the most economical hotel I could find with free car parking. Quite a basic hotel - but ticked all the boxes for me! I normally return my rented car and stay at the airport itself which and would be my preference - for this particular day, the hotel at the airport was completely full.

Beautiful view from the room to the lake, friendly staff, safe parking, excellent breakfast.

Really good hotel en a beautiful place. We have got the room with lake view, it was amazing. Hotel had an excellent restaurant with vary good breakfast and dinner. Free parking also great benefit. There are family rooms with 4 beds - which is quite nice for our family. Dog ? friendly. Our dog was happy sitting on the balcony with beautiful view.

The breakfast was was good and the view out the windows in the dining area was really nice. The surrounding around the hotel was beautiful. Would recommend this hotel to other people.

There was some language barrier between us and the staff.

The staff are fantastic and ao kind to my elderly mother in law.Special thanks to the lovely lady with blonde bobbed fair and glasses in the restaurant and Andreas on reception.The fact they recognise her when she arrives makes her feel very special.

Our bedroom this year was not as nice as last year but still acceptable.

The hotel was nice, pretty much 4 stars as advertised. Our room was on the lake side, which made for nice morning and sunset views across the water. Slept well. Bathroom was clean and modern.

Sorry, but 16,50€ (per person) for the breakfast was a rip off. Supermarket standard bread, cold cuts and the like. Not much variety either. The next time, we'll go to a cafe.

Love to return every time we travel up North. It’s a great family hotel, love the staff and the food. We also love the lake view, especially in the morning.

Location, big bathroom, and spacious room. Free parking and posibility to stay with a pet.

Breakfast, products could be better quality.
