the hotel may need some work . I mean it's ok but , I would not call it spa hotel . we did have 2 kids so with a bed extra we couldn't move in the room lo. The food was ok

fantastic place! Beautiful and peaceful surrounding. Personnel super professional and very helpful, very customer oriented. Bed was very comfortable.

The best thing about my stay was the breakfast.

Rooms and spa seem a bit outdated. Mattresswas too hard. The hotel is okay but cannot compete with other wellness hotels in this price category. I definitely expected more for this price.

There was lots to like about this hotel! We particularly appreciated the convenient location close to the train station, the very clean and big pool area, the breakfast and afternoon snack, the onsite tennis courts, and the onsite restaurant. Everything under one roof. We loved that we could use the wellness area all day on the days we checked in and out.

Just smaller things - pool is a bit too deep for younger kids to be able to stand. We found the tv a bit small, and we would have liked to have had access to Netflix.

Everything. Practically flawless. Location (5 minutes walk from Schneebergbahn), quality of the hotel, hospitality of the staff. The dinner was superb. On top of áll that we got a room with mountain view.

Beautiful old hotel with additional modern facilities, in a wonderful location. The breakfasts and evening restaurant menus were excellent with delicious food and excellent waiter service. Gorgeous views of the mountains from our room and a lovely balcony too. Great walks from right outside the door.

The hotel is located next to the mountain railway that leads to the Schneeberg mountain. This is very convenient for lovers of hiking routes on the mountain.Very beautiful place!Friendly staff, good breakfasts, clean.No complaints about this place!

The hotel is located a few meters from the railway with all the noise consequences. But this cannot be changed. True, at night the trains stop running.

Amazing staff, excellent location. Ideal place as a base of hiking adventures.

The pool is really small and can be overcrowded with childrens.

The breakfast was excellent, nicely prepared and enough dishes to choose from. The location is excellent, just a few steps away from the center of the town and the famous cog railway. The hotel is in an idyllic setting surrounded by beautiful nature. Also a commendable parking garage with enough space.

Upon entering the hotel room, we realized that they hadn't cleaned up everything from the previous guest, there were bath towels in the sink, the beds didn't have bedding, so we had to go to the reception and take the receptionist to the room so she could see the situation... but when we came back after two hours they sort of sorted things out but still no bed cover so i slept on some kind of plastic yogi cover it wasn't comfortable.I understand that mistakes happen, but for such a high price of 311 Eur for one night, I would at least expect some kind of discount on the final bill, but they didn't give it.

The hotel was great and was super close to the train station. The facilities are awesome.

The was no air conditioner in the room and it was quite hot. The staff had no fan to provide us and sleeping with the door open wasn't a good option due to the noisy area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The meals are good and have big variety. The price is is definitely a great deal.

The rooms are not little children (4 and 5 yo) friendly.

Small TV for such a big room. When you want to watch TV from the bed it is a bit small.

Very good location, 5 mins walk to the Salamander train station. Fantastic view from the balcony to the Hills. All the staff is extremely nice and helpful. We choose the halfboard, that was a good decision. The sortiment is pretty good, meals are delicios.

However the waiters speak English, it would be nice to have an (at least) English language menu too for the guests who deos not speak German.

No aircon, tiny area to sit outside pool. Old fashioned rooms in a 1979s block with a view of a rock face and ugly pool complex.

Hotel Schneeberghof is a must-stay. It is across the street from the hauptbahnhof to the top of Schneeberg (which the stay includes discounted tickets for!) The dinner and breakfast were included in the half-board option and both we excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. There are hiking trails all around the hotel as well.

I loved the rooms, service is very good.Location is perfect.
