Pros +
- The staff were very nice
- It was very convenient. I had to take a taxi but I couldn't find any so the receptionist who I think was the business owner helped me out.Totally recommend it.
- We were delayed on the way to the hotel, and had a warm welcome and good meal when we arrived. We stopped overnight on a journey elsewhere but will be back to explore the area and town further, and will surely stay at the Hotel Saint Francois.
Cons -
- I booked a room with private bathroom. I found out that there were only a shower and a sink which were private. The toilet was in the corridor shared with other rooms. That was a big disappointment as I haven't read it anywhere during the booking. Also, there was no coffee or tea making facility in the room.Last thing, the room lighting is connected to that of the "private bathroom" which is separated only with a curtain. That means that you have to turn on or off both of them if you needed only one.
- Rooms very basic, and in need of an update. Desk was in the corner - and you could use it if you didn't put luggage on the rack. Noise travels especially between bathrooms.
- Room is small but ok for a night. Shower and basin is a partition within the bedroom. Toilet is a shared facility. No internet in the room but available downstairs.

Warm welcome, both on arrival and throughout. The host/owner was always cheerful, though we struggled at times with the language barrier. Breakfast was simple - breads, pastries, cereals, coffee and some fruit. I took the set menu dinner some nights - didn't really get any notice of what, but food served was tasty and typically French.

Nice and quiet. Adequate for our one night stopover for our onward journey. Evening meal and breakfast available at extra cost which is great for those that want it.

great location rooms perfect and the bed was so comfortable room was very clean and well presented
car park entrance was right for my vehicle but the car park was roomy
The restaurant was good and value for money. Parking for motorcycle was very good. Overall cleanliness was good, bed was really comfy
We didn't realise that we had booked a room with shared bathroom, ( room 1). Room very small, would work better if bunk beds where used, just thankful it wasnt hot... Despite a fan provided, it wouldnt of made a difference
Secure parking for our motorcycle on site. Bedroom good size overlooking the courtyard. Didnt want breakfast but really enjoyed restaurant, staff very accommodating despite my poor french. Very good value for money
helpful staffFood was surprisingly good and good value
we booked a small double room (which was small) and was surprised that there was a shared toilet although there was a shower and sink in the roomreception wasn't available until 17:30 which meant we had to wait around for a couple of hours after a hot motorbike ride. there didn't seem to be an option to book in earlier. There was also no lighting in the corridors
We were in France for the Le Mans endurance race and this was an excellent location with discreet secure parking. The rooms were basic but perfectly functional and Stephanie the proprietor was excellent albeit she spoke no English with our little French and translate on the phone we managed to have conversations each day. Stephanie contacted us before our stay so explain what the hotel could offer us apart from our bed and breakfast arrangement and that included picnics each day and evening meals which were excellent and so nice not to have to drive anywhere else to source food. We found Stephanie very approachable and helpful .
The rooms were quite small but perfectly functional for what we required on this trip , the shower was tricky to master and had to be run for some time to get hot water but once you had understood its quirks it was adequate and you find these quirks in these small family run chateau and its all part of the charm.Only one towel provided but another was provided when asked.
Good price. Friendly host. Very basic but host provided a fan as it was hot and gave us one of the bigger rooms so the baby bed would fit. Good for a one-night stop or for a visit of the "Zoo de la Flèche".
The shower is in the room (separated by the rest of the room by a curtain) so the room gets hot and damp, not very confortable as we visited the area during a heatwave. Not a lot of amenities in the area (no nice restaurants or shops at walking distance).
There was no breakfast, I didn't ask for it either
Ideal stop off on our way down south. Nice evening meal in the small restaurant
