Amazing views from our room and meals

Overall we had a really wonderful stay at the Hotel Plaza. Our room had a balcony with lounge chairs and a gorgeous view of the waterfront. The room itself was also comfortable and clean with daily visits from the cleaning staff. The stand out part of our stay was definitely the breakfast, though, which was one of the most generous and high quality that we've experienced in Italy, with hot entrees like omelettes and pancakes provided upon request. Lastly I'd mention that the parking on site was very convenient- while the lot was small we were able to find a parking spot each day without any issue.

The shower temperature had a quirky rhythm—about 10 seconds of extra-hot water before settling back to warm (and so on). It wasn’t a real issue for us, but it kept us on our toes!

Our group stayed in the 3 bedroom villa owned by Hotel Plaza. The location in proximity to town could not be beat. You walk down a little bit of a slope/hill (not bad at all - maybe 40-50 steps) and you are right at the edge of town where all the shopping and restaurants are. It’s super easy to get to town from the 3 bedroom villa.

Only one bedroom had AC - there were no fans for air movement - there is only one shower and it is tiny. There is a tub with a sprayer but no glass. The kitchen is not set up at all. You cannot use it for any cooking.

Lovely views. Friendly staff. Amazing terrace for breakfast. Cooked to order breakfast in addition to buffet. Great dinner at restaurant.

Rooms with big windows with the view to the town and sunrise - amazing!Staff great. Breakfast - super nice. Can tell enough how happy we were and how much we all recommend this to everyone!

Everything! The great location (5 min by foot from Piazza in Port), the free parking, the friendly and helpful receptionist, the fantastic view from the balcony, the big spotless room and extremely comfortable bed, the excellent breakfast in the restaurant on the top floor, etc...

Absolutely nothing!

The location is perfect , views from the room were stunning and the breakfast superb . The staff , receptionist and water very kind and helpful. Definitely we recommend it ❤️

Nothing really, 400 mtr walk along main road but there is a back way

We have made the Plaza a regular stop over on Elba. The view is magical , rooms good, staff ever helpful and the food is quite outstanding. It is a gem.

Parking is available but limited although staff are always helpful in trying to squeeze you in. Don't take a big or long car!

The hotel has spectacular views of Porto Azzurro, and is situated very close to the town.The breakfasts they serve at the hotel was exceptional, and the service was excellent.Very friendly staffLovely Pool and Spa facilities

we had a "smart TV" which we found really difficult to operate

The property was overlooking the water. It was beautiful. They had a restaurant on site and the food was quite good. The staff was very helpful and the hotel itself was immaculate.

Everything was good

I loved the shape of the building as it allowed a 360 view of the gorgeous surroundings. Absolutely relaxing. The staff was welcoming but gave us space, check-in was easy, the breakfast was so good we eat it even though we don’t usually have it at home! Shoutout to the masseuse as well!

Our room smells of chlorine but we just opened the balcony to air it out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Plaza. Its ideal location within walking distance of bars and restaurants in Porto Azzuro and the breathtaking view from the balcony made our experience truly memorable. The staff exhibited professionalism throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the attentive and gracious service provided by the staff.

Had spectacular views of the ocean and town below from our rooms window as well as the upstairs balcony and pool. Breakfast was great, good service and food. Room was clean and modern although a little small. Location was good depending on what your looking for.

Its a long walk to the town center and very hilly. Also a very steep driveway and very few parking spaces so you should avoid using a car. The spa was nice, quiet and relaxing but if i had one complaint it would be that the hot tub temperature was very bad. It said it was supposed to be 34c but it was 25c at the most and no way to turn heat up.

Gorgeous view of Porto Azzurro and the beautiful bay. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices. We would certainly stay again!

No sidewalk on the busy street to walk to town so we took the street above with many stairs to walk down. Could be tough if you were old.

The towels are a bit thin, I prefer plush towels. Not a deal breaker, and it would not stop me from returning but it’s a detail that’s important to me

1st room was in the basement and smelled terrible. we complained and they moved us to another room on the second floor.

Great view, good breakfast, reliable internet, swimming pool still open in October.

Not aware of busy, noisy road immediately below the hotel. There was no easy access from the hotel into the town which was a 15 minute walk away and that meant walking on the busy road or a footpath that involved quite a climb back to the hotel. The bathroom was very tight for space. Most of the staff were very polite and helpful but breakfast was never ready at the 7.30 publicised time.
