- Good, quiet location, within walking distance from Portaria center. Spacious parking and comfortable room, with a nice view to Volos. All the staff was always polite, friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- Nothing!
- The breakfast could be richer and more versatile (not the same every day). The noise insulation in the room was inadequate, so it can be a problem in case of noisy neighbors.
- The wifi in the rooms was very week

I recently stayed at the Pillion Resort, and my experience was a mix of positives and a few areas that could use improvement. The resort is situated in a decent location, which provides easy access to local attractions. The grounds are well-maintained, and the natural surroundings are quite pleasant. The rooms were adequate in size and fairly clean, though they could benefit from some updates to make them feel more modern and comfortable. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the basic amenities were provided, but there was nothing particularly outstanding. The service was generally polite, but it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that makes a stay memorable. While the staff were helpful when approached, there were a few occasions where more proactive service would have been appreciated.Overall, Pillion Resort offers a satisfactory experience for those looking for a basic place to stay. It’s not a bad choice if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest while exploring the area, but there are a few aspects that could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.
The mountains. The village. The food in the area. There is an EV changer.
A very small shower in a very big bathroom. Old furniture and uninspiring decoration. Outdoor shades were falling apart and in bad working conditions.Don't know what was with the pool water. My eyes definitely didn't like it.The area around the pool was artificial grass and it smelled moldy.
Great location, big and comfortable rooms, helpful stuff.
The suites are big, 2 adults+ 3 kids fit, the pool was attractive and the pool bar and lobby restaurant was very great
Rooms not well maintained, some fricktions and cracks everywhere
Location, clean rooms, nature and view. The hotel staff helped us and were very kind
Nothing, everything was perfect
Nice location, pool, good hospitality.
Non residents are welcomed to the pool and pool bar and very soon pool area becomes crowded and otherwise very calming atmosphere with great view becomes unpleasant.
Very nice hotel with all the facilities you need, especially private parking (which few hotels have). Spacious and beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms, terraces with a beautiful panorama towards Volos (spectacular sunset). I received a free room upgrade and I really appreciated it. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the hotel for a pleasant stay.
Breakfast can be improved with vegetables, salads and a little more fruits.
The staff, the view and the pool are wonderful.
The location , staff were friendly
Poorly maintained the whole structure , outside at the yard and inside the room .
verry clean place with verry friendly stuff, big choise at breakfast, ideal for travalling with kids and dogs, perfect for ski trip to Pellion, especially dinner at fireplace, hope to come back soon!
The hotel itself was terrific. We had a very spacious view with a view overlooking the pool. More generally the views from that part of the world were great.
The pool had been out of action and was only being re-filled when we visited. (So, it was still out of action.) Without knowing for certain, I suspect that this may have been a consequence of the floods that had hit that part of the world. There was plenty of evidence of flood damage as we drove to the hotel, even though the hotel itself is quite high up a mountain. Indeed, the road immediately outside the entrance to the hotel had been largely washed away and what was left was in a poor way. Of course, none of that is the hotel's fault. Otherwise, there was much to like.
Excellent, spacious rooms. The pool area was fantastic for relaxation. Great value for money. The bar staff were superb and prompt. Will definitely return.
Good breakfast, excellent location, very good staff, very clean premises.
Poor WiFi cover, very hard mattresses (but of good quality)
The location was great, 3 minutes from the center of Portaria. The rooms (interconnected rooms) were excellent with a mini-salon between them with a lot of places to put the luggage. We really loved it and the children as well
Actually, we loved almost everything. The only thing the children complained about was the swimming pool because it was not so clean and they felt an irritation in their eyes
Friendly and very helpful staff, Cleanliness, Pool, Food
Wi-Fi very poor signal, noisy aircon unit
Swimming pool, rooms, breakfast, atmosphere, the staff, view, parking
Water at swimmingpool is too cold ?
