Logis Hotel restaurant de la Poste

Staff is very friendly, hotel is dog friendly (you still have to pay for a dog though). Restaurant is nice but 50/50 - my diner was delicious, my husband order different dishes and they weren’t very good. Room is simple and comfortable but a bit old.

No hot water - I can’t recommend this hotel because of that. Especially that the room wasn’t warm either. Mold in the shower.

Property was convenient for our one night stay on the way through to Bordeaux.While the hotel is dated the bedding was comfortable, towels fresh and clean and the heating was excellent.We also ate at the restaurant that night and it was great.

It is dated but representative of the price

The room in the annex was newly refurbished. The restaurant in the same building was pleasant but it had very limited choices.

We were not able to get a room in the main building. The back door to the rom in the annex was in a strange location. No elevator to get to the room.

The staff were incredibly nice, they upgraded our rooms even though we didnt ask for it. Very welcoming to pets. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant.

The cosiness of the place was 6/5! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! The town is very beautiful!

I did not like the fact that the shower was wrongly designed. The drain was not in the lower level, thus there was always water in the shower, which make the showering experience a little bit uncomfortable.

I travelled from Biarritz to home and stopped here. Since I was very tired from the road, I really appreciated the generous size of the room, that it was very quiet and very dark during the night. Just what I needed. After a good breakfast I was ready to continue my travel. That worked out very well.

A warm welcome. New owner trying and succeeding with a warm welcome, kindness, explanation of facilities and ease of access, resulting in a rather nice 2 night stay.

Perhaps some additional lighting in our very large bedroom.

Steer Clear

For the price we would have expected some method of keeping the room cool. It was like an oven. The staff just said that they don’t have any control over the weather . Point taken but they could maybe have portable aircon units for extreme heat. We did ask for a fan and one was provided which was a small help. We slept very little. There were also children in the room above who seemed to be using it as an assault course. Not just a few minutes but around two hours. We did complain to the member of staff but he just shrugged his shoulders. All in all probably one our worst ever hotel stays ( and we have stayed in many, many hotels before)

Friendly and very good dinner in the restaurant. Public parking on the square in front of the hotel. Close to the motorway if looking for a stopover. Nice little village.

Mattress on 2nd bed needs replacing - way too thin

So lovely. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We loved it and dinner at their restaurant was fantastic!
