    Pros +

    • The ambience, the beautiful Manor & grounds. Lovely staff
    • The breakfast was good and local. Served in the castle. The property is nice and gives a briton vibesThe room was comfortable for a familyThe distance from LocRonan is greatThere is a large parking lot for car and it feels totally safe
    • We arrived and were shown our room and were given all the info we needed to get settled very quickly. We had an excellent dinner at a reasonable price and a good very quiet nights sleep. The hotel is set all alone in beautiful but remote countryside. Breakfast was in a devoted room at the rear of the restaurant in the main building and most of the rooms are scattered around the grounds in very nicely done up barns etc. This hotel is worth a visit and we will revisit soon.

    Cons -

    • nothing really
    • The room was not very spacious. In front of the terrace there are big bushes which are ruining the view. The chef made little effort when asked for a vegan option (despite the time in advance) I was offered cold vegetables, uncooked slices of aubergine. And roasted potatoes which did not look fresh. My husband had an entry with fish, and he said it was ok, nothing spectacular.
    • It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room to store pet-food and some snacks and beverages. Perhaps also more vegan and savory options for breakfast.

The location in the middle of nowhere was nice, lots of green around. The table and chairs outside the room were very much appreciated. Also the free coffee or tea in the room. Good service at the restaurant. The hotel staff was helpful since we needed to store something in the fridge.

It is an absolutely unique property - an old manor with its surrounding buildings. The surrounding of the hotel is very peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a 5-minutes drive from a charming town of Locronan, so it's a good idea to go there for some food and sight-seeing.

It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room to store pet-food and some snacks and beverages. Perhaps also more vegan and savory options for breakfast.

The most beautiful place to stay. We had a room for 3 in the Stables and wow it was amazing. Tea and coffee facilities were not great but a small point to make in this fabulous accommodation. It was comfortable, spacious and exceptionally clean. The town of Locronan is just five minutes away and an absolute must for the evening meal and a walk. The whole town is a complete wonder.

We didn't like breakfast. They have one person to cover reception and breakfast on a Sunday which resulted in a not good experience. One staff is not enough to ensure eggs, bread, coffee etc is in good supply. I would definitely stay here again but likely not purchase the breakfast.

The location is amazing and also the restaurant was very good. The place is really pet friendly

Few members of the staff don’t speak English

Nice location, this time bad service.

Reception was closed when we come in and we have not found a clear message to find the room. Tel. Nr not clear: Wrong and not with the int. pre-dial. Why where they not using messaging with booking.com? Bad, even when we know this hotel for over 20 years.

very quiet and authentic place with a big garden

    7SamanthaPosted on: 6-18-2024

The setting/location was beautiful as was the main building. The gardens & restoration work is impressive.

The annexe building we stayed in on the property was average. It was a little stuffy & tired & the beds down the side & the headrest were dusty. The shower surround was mouldy. For the money we spent I would have expected breakfast to be included. It was an extra E12 p/p. We have travelled all over Brittany & this was the most expensive place we stayed at. Usually we only have a coffee & a pastry.

Lovely character place with rooms in former stable block - nice views , hot shower

Breakfast could be from 7-30 preferably rather than 8am but it was good with plenty of choices ! The restaurant wasn’t open on Weds yet was indicated as closed on Sunday ! Short trip to village but Logis restaurant good

Beautiful old farm manor. Excellent rooms, excellent staff, very quiet location. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again.

    Loved the location. Old castle

Sadly, the restaurant was not open

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, who showed us to our room. This was in a modern single storey building made in stone to match the main building. It contained everything that one might want including a place to sit outside. Unfortunately due to the weather we could not enjoying this, but it does have a nice view over the surrounding countryside. The only reason we have not scored the room as excellent is because it is a bit lacking in character. Nevertheless, it was very clean and well presented. The manoir is a very interesting building and we would have liked to have known more about its history. There is a nice courtyard where the current owner is in the process of restoring parts of the old building. Breakfast was very good and served in the impressive stone walled main room of the manoir. This is a very good place to stay if you are visiting this part of Brittany. We can also recommend the nearby village of Locronon

It was a shame that the old gardens have not been maintained.

beautiful old manor house in a a lovely rural locationwe chose it because we had a long drive that day and wanted to arrive and put our feet up, enjoy the well reviewed restaurant and a nightcap in the bar.in this historic buildingunfortunately the restaurant was closed. thepleasant lady at reception helped us find somewhere not too far away to eat, but it was inconvenient ditto the bar. it closed at 630. as did the whole manor house (rooms are in the outside stable block)our room was comfortable and adequate, coffee machine, mini bar (just as well!)it must be a lovely place to stay when its actually open

    it was mainly closed

They were dog friendlyCommunication with staff was goodLocation was lovely but we were only there for the night and had to leave early

It may have been nicer if reception was open late… we arrived about 7pm and no one was there to meet usRooms were a little basicDinner was not available at this time in the season

    7CatherinePosted on: 10-22-2023

It is a lovely historic manor in pleasant setting with great views. A lot of the rooms are however not in the main building but in a converted Orangerie which, although nicely decorated and with all the facilities, does make it seem more like a motel than manor house stay. Restaurant was shut because of the season but continental breakfast was provided.

    The annexe rooms.

    8MichaelPosted on: 10-11-2023

Food was excellent, the old building was just lovely and the location was perfect.

Broken toilet, broken window shutter and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

    6JeremyPosted on: 10-9-2023

A pleasant spacious room with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the lovely view and the rustic outside seating area. The breakfast croissants were excellent.

The lack of fresh coffee at breakfast. Also, we were informed two weeks before arrival that the restaurant would be closed in October. The hotel's list of recommended restaurants included some that were closed in the evening or altogether, some that were only open on certain days, some that were further away than we wished to drive, and at least one that was too expensive. The delightful nearby village, Locronan, had just one restaurant open on a Wednesday evening, and two on Thursday. The situation improved at the weekend.

Everything. The building, the grounds, the food.
