Pros +
- Lovely location and grounds
- It is a beautiful chateau with lovely grounds. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower in a well appointed bathroom. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent too. Audrey on reception was particularly helpful and happy! ☺️
- The Manoir is really lovely, the garden is beautiful and the pool is great!
Cons -
- I would have expected a fridge in the cottage we stayed in (4 people).
- The room was basic for a 4 stars hotel
- I think the excuse for not having AC is more about investor/owners' decisions than preserving the monument (they removed the very obvious old shutters and installed blinds!). Similarly, while there have been efforts to maintain the interior decor (still in good condition) and room arrangements, it ages quickly in a manor like this (some smells in the corridors, a broken mirror not replaced in a tiny elevator, etc. "The Devil is in the details"!). And most importantly, please add a small fridge in the room - the "heritage preservation" won't be affected by it!The pool: nice but not up to par... the sauna room had a leaking shower that flooded some guests who were around the pool, there were -too many- loose/wobbling tiles, and weeds growing between the tiles (!). There needs to be a real effort to make this place pleasant and some investments in maintenance - obviously. Additionally, there is no drink service at the pool - so you have to go to the bar, if it's open.We would have liked also to have vending machines for ice or drinks available at night, and maybe a bigger TV screen.Additionally, the check-in time at 5 PM and check-out time at 11 AM were inconvenient - although as I said Audrey really welcomed us nicely and allowed us to access the room earlier... But this increasingly common practice in Hotels in France is becoming quite frustrating. Note: We didn't try the restaurant as we were not in the mood for another fancy French meal. Instead, we had a fantastic dinner in the center of Quimper.

Stunning from the outside and somewhat unique inside, albeit a bit dark. The manor is quite impressive inside and out, but it's important to know what you're getting into... The location and surrounding countryside are very quiet and pleasant. I believe it's mostly suited for weddings and group events, not ideal for families. Our room was located in the main building. Be mindful of the bar and check-in hours! And no AC ... (!) Wi-Fi worked fine :)Overall, the place is very clean, with a fantastic young team doing their best at reception, cleaning, and the bar (special thanks to Audrey for the warm welcome!). We appreciated the fan provided in our room and -especially- the early check-in, along with the robes and other amenities.

Absolutely excellent. Polite and very attentive staff. Superb!
Nothing - though I would think that a lounge area would be useful in the winter when you cannot sit outside enjoying the Brittany sunshine!
Restaurant requires advance booking also for hotel guests!
Restaurant full, we were hotel guests and not given the chance to dine. Unbelievable!
The manoir is in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the pool also. Very friendly staff at reception and restaurant. We had an overall comfortable stay,
Breakfast was decent. Evening meal (we had the menu) was okay but expensive for what it was and in this price category one would expect a table cloth etc. We ate much better and nicer in restaurants outside.
The staff were lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for the client
Not so much what I didn’t like but the cottage 31 was very dark downstairs and maybe better lighting would help
Excellent breakfast, but OUTSTANDING DINNER,Worth going for the chef !
Sauna not working
The breakfast was very good.Well presented and plenty of choice.Everything looked fresh and tasted good.
The bedroom had a split level with a eight inch drop. Not for the unwary at night.
Pool was great, kids loved it. Breakfast was good, more variety than other French hotels we have stayed at, it even had scrambled eggs.
The manoir is a beautiful building, the pool is great to cool down and the food is amazing
there was a wedding on the day we left, with all the preparation and the guests I felt we didn’t enjoy the manoir as much as we could have
Correct

Beautiful place , great food , staff and facilities . Sorry we didn’t find this place before
only that we couldn’t stay longer
We liked the swimming pool and the restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were very good.the restaurant staff were very friendly and good at explaining the menu.
Our room was not ready until 7pm and we were advised check-in was available at 5pm. It would have been nice to have had access to the pool earlier in the day, say from 3pm even if the room wasn't ready until 5. My husband and children got changed i the car / car park as we had dinner booked for 7pm! I did have a shower but the cleaning sstaff were in our room! The room was very warm with no air-conditioning. Our dinner reservation was not made despite me having an email confirming it was booked.
Quiet location
Lousy service! ?Menues were handed out to all tables - except mine. Picked it up myself. Had then to wait for 27 minutes until someone took my order..... Had to request for the wine list. Nobody asked me. Although i had arrived first, all other tables were served before mine. After the starter, the already used fork was put back on the table.... Incredible. Dishes were delivered without any explanation (staff could not speak english), not even with a friendly smile. Same at the reception. Friendlyness seems unknown jere. The room had no real windows with a view, only two very small windows high above the floor. All in all very disappointing.
The food was excellent. Dinner and breakfast amazing! Super clean everywhere.
We booked a room for 3. There is 1 bed downstairs and 1 bed upstairs. In terms of safety, the bathroom (which is upstairs) was too close to the stairs. Not great either for the person who sleeps downstairs. The roof window didn’t have any blind. Tricky if you want to sleep a bit longer in the morning. We went to the bar for a drink before dinner and didn’t like the fact that the waiter assumed we wanted champagne.
Top location to relax, have a swim and discover that part of Brittany
Driving into the Manoir is already an impressive experience - the driveway with old trees opens us to show the Manoir at the end. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the in-house restaurant was not serving that Sunday but we were handed a long list with plenty of tips for restaurants around the area. Unfortunately we only stayed a night, but we will definitely return and stay longer next time.
The wifi was not great at our room.
The location, the room and the pool
Wi fi in my room did not work and The girl at the reception said she could not do anything… i had to insist to convince her to pay me attention and help me to sorte it out.
