Hotel Bad Schwarzsee

Close to trailhead and next to lake. Nice views.

This hotel is run by Cinderella’s evil stepsisters.

We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful.The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

Nice room and nice location and very nice staff

A lot of flies at the breakfast because the doors are open to the outside. Breakfast had only cold options (but you could boil eggs). Very warm in the breakfast hall.

The room is quite new and really clean. Unfortunately, The mattress are really old and used. So bad sleep. They should renew them.

It was nice and clean however the room was very dark without a window online balcony door that was facing a fence very hot during summer.

V comfortable beds and clean, fresh feel to the room. Peaceful night's sleep. Great view across lake and mountains.

The public spaces, restaurant and breakfast room were infested with flies! The management didn’t seem to be concerned or doing anything to address the problem.

The location is superb

The place is a bit rundown, with paint peeling off the walls, and the mattress having some stains.

We had a nice one night stay. The property and location is. Very close to the frozen lake we were able to directly cross it to go to the skilift (although ca. 15 min walk). The hotel is made well accessible for disabled guests.

We had sometimes a bit difficulty communicating in French with the Staff and they seemed busy with the restaurant. but most times they were friendly

wish they would look into the room before arriving, probably was not used for few days/weeks and since last cleaning there were like 10dead flies on the floor. too hot at night the room with floor heating however when we opened balcony the whole night we had to listen to 11 cows ringing their wonderful bells right under the window :( discovered they hardly sleep at night!!!

Light and clean room. Comfortable chairs on the balcony. Very good bathroom.

A vegetarian option on the menu (other than salad).

The dinner was excellent and the breakfast again fine. The view to the lake from we enjoyed from the balcony.

Great location. Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and good food. The perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking.

A little too expensive for level of comfort and facilities, but I guess thats typical for Switzerland.

Very uncomfortable bedding and pillows, too hot in the room with the window closed.

The location is situated near the lake and was very quiet during this time of year.

The staff at breakfast was not visible - we were left to ourselves. At some point we've got a coffee - and then - nothing more. The matress was extremely soft and the room overheated.

The location is great.

Beds were very uncomfortable. While I understand COVID makes restaurant menus limited, vegetarian/vegan options were appalling. The online menu and the one posted at the hotel does not reflect availability of dishes. I had to drive 25 minutes away to get produces to eat.
