Very pleasant rooms & excellent restaurant

Surrounding area of the hotel could do with tidying

Honestly having read the reviews I was surprised at how bad this hotel was. The staff were surly and it felt like they didn’t want us there. The room was damp and cold. The meal in the restaurant was horrendous and very over priced. Service was once again unfriendly and poor. The only vaguely good thing about this hotel is the ok location and the fact that it was obviously once a nice place to breed horses. Do not waste your money on this place.

A traditional-style hotel with comfortable rooms. The restaurant is well-known in the area, and we had some excellent meals there.

We were there during the first terrible storm at the end of October. The old stable block could not cope with the amount of rain, and our bedroom leaked.

A bit awkward having the bedroom and the bathroom on different levels

This is a very nice quirky property. A former Arabian stud farm. My room was 2 storey with the bedroom upstairs. I had an outside area looking at the pool. Very quiet location. Just outside the town. Pool was lovely after a hot day on my motorbike. Parked near the room. The onsite restaurant was exceptional easily the best meal on my trip. Quite busy which is a good sign. A very professional waiter and great service. 1 st class steak and splendid beer on tap. Very nice ambience. Breakfast was lovely too all you would want. Highly recommended. Something a little bit different from the normal type hotels.

Perfect hotel location for Caminito del Rey (30 mins drive) and airport (30 mins) restaurant was outstanding service and standard of cuisine, best we had in our 2 week stay around Granada and Cordoba. Staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful.

The outside was very pretty with nice flowers.

The pricing made us think this was a good quality hotel but it was worth around half of what we paid. The room was not comfortable and had inadequate heating. There was no wifi in the rooms. Hot water ran out quickly so couldn’t have a warm bath to try and warm up. The bed was very hard and the bedding was thin and cheap with flat pillows.

Although no mod cons, the rustic feel & setting was so romantic,xas was the restaurant outside dining area with amazing food!

A newer shower would be an improvement but certainly did not spoil our lovely stay.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Relaxing place and great view.

The bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fine but not enough staff resulted in a long wait. We had to ask for bread until our meal was ready.

The internet was very weak in all areas of the hotel. Bathroom was in need of replacement and the towels were very thin. These things would not have mattered so much if it had been cheaper by about €30 per night. Overpriced.

Very kind and helpful personnel, delicious breakfast, beautiful accommodation.

Existing Pillows in Habitación not sufficient,very poor quality.piscina I think should be kept clean all year round, regardless if not in use.

Breakfast was quite small

I loved the breakfast, the pool, parking and restaurant. The room smelled very well and fresh and the beds were very comfy.

I didn't like that the internet and he manual in the room said that the restaurant will be open for lunch, but when we arrived the next day, they disappointed me with a closed restaurant and no lunch/afternoon opening at all. Could have been informed better about that.

Fantastic pool area, and comfortable, clean room. Excellent evening meal in the restaurant and lovely friendly staff. Would benefit from having drinks available to purchase around the pool in the afternoons.

Pool was clean

The ad says each room comes with a minibar (read: small fridge) but mine did not and the hotel refused to move me to one which has one so I had to use their common fridge. Check in was not the quickest and I also waited for over 20mins to checkout (during the requisite times and even when the bill was settled). The hotel seem more concerned with manning their restaurant next door then managing the hotel - you had to go over to the restaurant to get them for basic hotel things so this was concerning.Wifi did not work at all in the rooms.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent. Very nice pool, garden, patios and courtyard, where my room was located

Charming, historical, beautiful rooms and grounds, lovely people and wonderful breakfast.
