Pros +
- Scenic views, well situated for the Alpujarra, underfloor heating, ample parking. Excellent shower.
- Stunning location with expansive mountain and sky views. Fabulous sunrise, sunset and starlit skies. Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to the suite which was a nice touch. Excellent dining and bar area. Inside and outside options. Francisco was a first class host and nothing was too much trouble. His evening meal was delicious. Although it was closed the pool and pool area look as if they are a nice addition.
- My partner and I got into a car accident on the way to the hotel and Francisco, the manager, truly went above and beyond to help us—he drove us back and forth from the hotel to the town multiple times, helped us contact the local authorities, coordinated with the tow truck, all while serving us a lovely dinner and maintaining exactly the sort of calm kindness that’s so invaluable in a crisis. Honestly, he made an experience that could have completely ruined our trip into just a minor blip. Thank you, Francisco.
Cons -
- Mould in the bathroom.
- The sat nav had difficulty finding the hotel... it took three attempts. The ramp up to the large car park needs careful negotiation and may be a challenge for low suspension cars / sports cars.
- The menu was very limited both for breakfast and dinner.
