Nothing. All good.
Very good communication prior to arrival. Proprietors very friendly and flexible as we needed to drop luggage off early. Hotel in amazing setting next to the lake and we had an lake view.Plenty to see in the village and area. Would recommend a stay.
The view of the lake when we woke up.The breakfast.
The stairs to climb to the room. The restaurant was not open, and neither was one open in town.
Nice location near lake . Friendly English speaking staff. Good food.
Location is fantastic. View from the room over the lake and the green countryside. Nice terraces to sit. ( Infront of the hotel or on the roof. Good bathroom with large shower. Very friendly owners. Nice old town with interesting buildings
Amazing place, I revisited again with great pleasure, amazing to have English & Dutch speaking friendly reception and of course all the other staff who looked after me. Highly recommend.
My french is too rusty. I couldn't stay longer. That I had to travel on.
Stunning view of the lakeNice comfortable clean roomNice friendly homely welcome
The breakfast was varied allowing choice. All fresh and very tasty. Loved the surrounding area. The view from my room was pretty stunning, especially in the morning with the rising sun burning the mist off the lake
The restaurant wasn't open on Sunday but the owner explained they couldn't get the staff in September and there were also not enough dinner guests. Food was available elsewhere but not from the restaurants. They were all closed. Closest one open was only 11km away.
Beautiful views over the lake. Very helpful staff.
Mostly fine and great value for money. Didn't try the breakfast so not sure on that. Restaurant turns out basic food (frozen fish and chips etc).
The breakfast was very good it was continental but plentiful
No heating on in the hotel had to ask every day for the radiator’s to be put on ., also there was no chef therefore was informed they could only cook fish n chips
Nice place - shame about boozy folk under our window
Very noisy boozy people just under our room window until at least midnight
clean & comfortable, beautiful view over the lake
It's in a lovely place overlooking a small lake. We had a nice very simple dinner on the terrace.
Your welcome was rather chilly. We were just shown our room. No explanation of keys or codes or even a 'welcome' statement. It was all a bit odd.
Wonderful location. Nice breakfast on terrace.
Stairs and corridors and staircase again to reach the room.
The location is stunning, the staff are lovely and the food was good. The bedding and mattress were impeccable. The bathroom was spotless. We only had the choice of a basic room, which normal we wouldn’t have chosen, however the hotel was packed and there were no other options!
There were wires hanging out of a wall and a burnt plug socket, paint on the carpet and the room needed dusting. The terrace looked like an after thought. Which is such a shame as the view from it is incredible. I would stay again but in another room.
Lovely room, fantastic view
3 sets of spiral stairs to get to room- impossible with a large suitcase. Bathroom desperately in need of upgrading. Very limited “British “ menu.
Location excellent, had to have food in the room. Evening meal very good and breakfast plentiful. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I arrived before cover restrictions eased. Could not visit the bar.
Small country side hotel with all the facilities of a modern hotel.
