- We truly had the most amazing experience at Can Boix. Words can’t describe the beauty of the place, the scenic nature, the sweetest staff, the delicious meals and the top notch service! The restaurant is 10 out of 10, with nutritious breakfast and very versatile a la carte menu for lunches and dinners. The mountains are breathtaking and the hikes there are must do! The staff will help you out with picking the best hiking trail. My friend and I enjoyed our weekend getaway and we would definitely come back for more!
- Great retreat! Located in the foothills the hotel is very private and quiet. Comfort is the word that describes this property. Beautiful pool and surrounding area. Lovely breakfast room and very nice breakfast. Great coffee! Restaurant on site. Offered secure parking for our bicycles. I would return.
- Location and friendly staff, they allowed late check in
Cons -
- Very bad breakfast, max 2 star hotel. The room was not cleaned every day, only the sheets changed, I could tell. Staff is completely unqualified, for a 3 nights stay 400 euros and 140 euros for two dinners which were bad, a shrimp that’s 20 euros which is 20 grams and a steak that made was still moving, and the tartar, which made me vomit. The bath was dirty when I got there and when I checked in they forgot to give me the electricity card and for 30 min I didn’t know how to do it, I had to ask them.
- On Monday breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, literally some leftovers from the breakfast a day before. The good thing is you can order eggs to be cooked for you. Also we couldn’t have lunch on Monday as we suppose to book it in advance, which we didn’t know about. So we had to go to a village close by for lunch, to the only food place was opened that day. The menu in the hotel restaurant was the same for lunch and dinner, the food is good but we ran out of options to choose from by the end of our stay.
- Dinner menu is (in my humble opinion) too complex. Oliana between Christmas 2024 and New Year’s Eve 2024 had as far as we could see NO options for dinner. The hotel could simplify the menu to less complex and less expensive after to, I think, its advantage. A hearty soup, rather than marinaded partridge salad (delicious as it was); grilled meat and fish would have been more welcome (without prejudice to the chef’s skills).

Amazing holiday! Beautiful nature! Great location, beautiful hotel terraces and views. Very thoughtful staff, they prepared a cake for my birthday with candles, card and a bottle of cava. That was a wonderful surprise. Thanks again! The food and drinks were good in the restaurant. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony with the mountains view.

The location and consistent high level of service. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a superior room which added to our stay.
Good breakfast selection; eggs and bacon promptly cooked to prefer on the weekday we were there.

What a lovely location at the foot of the surrounding mountains, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was great and the breakfast was fantastic and well catered, I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel wonderfull Location, views, and outdoor spaces.Great quality of breakfast, expeptional good tastes and wine at the restaurant.
Little old-fashioned room fit out, maybe slippers, and some personal care products should be provided.
Tranquil...didn't have time to sample the evening meal, but breakfast was good and plentiful.Room was spacious, clean and well appointed.
Nothing. The spa option on the bath was not working which we reported. Not really a problem for us.
The location is beautiful and the staff very helpful.
The hotel used to be family owned, since it has been taken over it has got a little more expensive and the breakfast is not as good as it once was! Also a sign said the swimming pool is only open July and August which was disappointing as the weather was very nice and we would have loved to use it!
The hotel is surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery. Lots of walks right at the back of the hotel. We went to the restaurant at the hotel for dinner and was the best meal of our whole holiday! Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay due to being out of season.
Grounds are beautiful throughout. Comfy beds
Dogs are not allowed in the only eating facility in the property (not even outside seating). The hotel style is really tired, everything is old and outdated. Our room smelled like cigarettes, really badly even though it should be non smoking roomNo sound isolation, heard every little noise from the rooms above. The check out opens at 8 so if you need to leave earlier (which we did) you have a problem because there is nowhere to leave they keys
Beautiful location - very helpful staff . Room very spacious with lovely view . Pool very enjoyable Food at restaurant was very high quality. Highly recommend
Amazing location for relaxing and hiking. Peaceful and quiet place for a getaway. The staff was really welcoming and pol
The setting is just incredible. It was everything that I hoped for from the online photos. The staff were also very kind and attentive. Lovely very big room with balcony. The pool was extremely well maintained and just fabulous. Ignore the pool times. The staff wanted us to enjoy the pool even tough we arrived at 6pm when it is supposed to close.
Slightly dated furniture and fixtures, but well maintained.
Beautiful location and building with pool.Gardens were well looked after.Rooms comfortable with great views.
Lack of staff… chasing around to order drinks. No facilities for drinking around pool area as glass bottles provided.Pool area dangerous with loose planks and nails protruding from boards- which was brought to attention of staff.Struggled with menu as a Vegetarian.
I was only 24h but I could relax with my family, enjoy the nature, the beautiful panoramic views and the hotel surroundings. It was a good choice.
More interesting for its geology than its hospitality.
A lack of staff, I suppose we were there in low season, and the bloke who was supposedly on the bar seemed to think it was beneath him to be on the bar. He may have been the owner. I did not take to him.
Location, peaceful and relaxing. Very good food. Reasonable prices.
Bed pillows ( but I didn’t ask to change)
Beautiful location and amazing staff, always here to make sure we had a good stay.+ they offered me a bottle of local Cava for my birthday! Very generous. thanks again!
it's a bit pricey
