Pros +
- Everyting was beautiful
- Great pool, restaurant insight. Fridge in room. Very nice breakfast.
- I stayed here primarily because it was on my route. But it turned out that Pedrola is a nice little town. I try to avoid cities. The hotel is very nice with a restaurant and bar and nice rooms and friendly staff. It was easy to either walk or drive to Pedrola. There was an easy to access gas station very close.
Cons -
- Commercialized castle. Not very clean. Hard to locate, behind gas station.
- It’s on the motorway between Bilbao and Valencia a brilliant stopover destination however there is nothing else apart from a truck stop.
- Only fault was the restraurant was closed on Sunday evening

Right off of the motorway easy access. A quirky hotel in the style of a medieval castle inside and out. Really nice bar area and the restaurant is exceptional the food varied and beautifully cooked and presented.

Everything was good about this hotel arrived too early but the girl on reception got me checked in early
Only fault was the restraurant was closed on Sunday evening
Food was very good. We had their set menu.
Bath in the bedroom without a shower curtain.
I loved everything about it, it was very enchanting and especially the representation of the hotel as a castle, it was like living a childhood dream and I was able to share it with my 4-year-old daughter. I was also very happy to hear several sequences of Brazilian music....because I'm Brazilian and I hardly ever hear Brazilian music in public places and especially in a hotel..... It was very pleasant.
We had car trouble and limped into the hotel at 04 am. They had a meal waiting and 24h reception no joke. The breakfast was hermetically sealed but v good.
I'm in a wheelchair, and the lift was a tad tight.
Very characteristic looking hotel, we had a room overlooking the "courtyard" which had a lovely view. We asked the lady at the desk (who was cheerful and really easy to have a conversation with) if we could upgrade our room to one with a large bath, this was done easily, but she let us know there was a wedding going on so the room would be nearest to the noise. We still went for this room as we had ear plugs. The actual room was pretty basic, but the look of the room was very nice. Only issue is the mattress was incredibly hard, There is a restaurant on site that offers a 3 course set menu for €30 or a la carte also. Food was quite different, but tasty
We have been several times before. We are staying again in May. Excellent value and lovely evening meal which was delicious. Hotel is perfect for our needs. The only matter of concern was the condition of the bathroom shower cubicle.
Food was excellent and it had character. Easy to find .
Shower was in need of renovation. As we’re some of the decor
Amazing building, great team and lovely facilities. Fantastic supper and breakfast too. Well done
Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Loved the ambiance. Staff fries and helpful. Can’t fault it!
Liked it all
Parking, bedroom, service & evening meal - all good
Breakfast not great and coffee from the machine tasted terrible with a chemical aftertaste. In fairness the coffee has always been OK on previous visits
The quality of the beds are pretty good. The style of the hotel is unique and attractive.
The pub downstairs is very noisy in the midnight. The room air conditioner didn't heat up.
The theme and the breakfast was great.
It is a little dated and needs some maintenance, close to highway.
Previous occupant was smoking in room, bad smell of cigarettes
Room basic and could do with upgrade
Location next to highway Great dinner wait staff worked hard to help us order
Front desk staff couldn’t speak English.
Location was good for an overnight stop on the way to Santander. All of the staff were very friendly…The bar had a really nice atmosphere and was good value for drinks. The restaurant was amazing and food really good also.
The communal areas were all really nice, but the room could have been better. The bed was really creaky and not very comfortable. The bathroom was nice apart from the shower/bath with cracked tiles and really tired shower enclosure. Fortunately was not a very expensive room.
The staff were lovely and our starters and dessert for Menu del Dia were very good but main course bland.
Bathroom quite basic. Breakfast was very impersonal, ok but quite basic
