Nice, comfortable room with a balcony, sensational breakfast with an excellent view of the mountains.

I very likely would have used more of the hotel's services if they put a list of spa services and a daily restaurant menu, in multiple languages, in every room. I think they miss a huge revenue opportunity.

The view and exterior pool and area. The price was almost not affected by inflation (because value is worse now)

Needs renovation and maintenance. Understaffed. Sadly today it's a shadow of what it was some years ago. it's a pity they haven't maintained the place properly.

Marvellous Hotel with magnificent views. Cycle aloud in room for storage. Meals very good both Dinner & Breakfast, no extortionate prices.

It was an absolutely perfect place to stay.Everything is so clean, simple, and elegant in this hotel. The stuff is very helpful, and they really do their best to offer us great, comfortable time.Breakfast with the view and with so many delicious taste was outstanding, and the spa facilities were just as convinient and satisfying.I would like to give a great thanks for Maria, who was especially helpful and kind to us.The main element behind this great place is all this hard working, humble and kind-hearted people who do their diligent job every single day, to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for others.Thank you for everything.I will definitely recommend this place to my frends amd family?

The view and room are nice and adequate.

We didn't like the indoor pool (and SPA) because it was too small for the number of people there. We didn't get to use it because it was always full of people. At check-in, we asked for pool towels, and they didn't have any. We came back at 5 pm, and they still didn't have any towels :(And for a 4-star hotel, the space is old. The path from the rooms to the dining area and the indoor pool takes me through an outdoor area, which, although glazed in winter, is unpleasant.

Bought a stay for my parents and they were very pleased with the staff and food

Unfortunately spa/jacuzzi was in maintenance and there was no communication about it meaning I hyped my parents for nothing and they were a bit disappointed that they could enjoy it.

Good breakfast with fresh products and good selection. Friendly staff, welcoming and smiley.Surrounded by nature and good views from the room.

Room wasn't very big and would have been great to have an extra armchair to sit on as an alternative to the bed.The gym is rather small with outdated machinery.

The spa consists of a little bit old equipment. You can ear everything from the other rooms. Literally everything (toilets, etc)

The amazing views near the hotel, lots of hiking routes for nature lovers. Great swimming pool.

The hotel needs some facelift and maintenance as a few things were not working. The sondproofing is really bad, we could hear what's going on in the adjacent rooms.Bar and restaurant staff were not too polite and a bit unprofessional.

Check in assistant, Nelson, - first class. Credit to company. We have been here previously so knew what to expect. Very comfortable rooms, Great pool, shame weather was poor for this time of year. Never been like this before. And that’s about it for the good things.

Evening meals were a disaster, and we listened to other persons also complaining. Restaurant manager, waste of time. Young staff with no or little training needs. Delivering food but they had no idea what was on the plate. Meals had been selected and wrong meals prepared. Then told another wait for 30 minutes. Two of us went without food. On another evening, no beer on tap as empty. Staff didn’t know how to change it over. 1 hr 15 minutes waiting for drinks, 7pm to 8.15pm. Thank goodness for Romeo who tried his best to assist everyone. Thanks to chef Elizabeth who came to speak to us to assist. Breakfast each day was poor, cold. We were looking to take our wives next time. That won’t be happening. Too many problems and so many persons complaining. Sorry. Was a great hotel before.

We had a great time at Hotel da Montanha! The view was breathtaking, the room as described with an amazing view over the mountain, Barragem do Cabriz and hotel outside pool. Everything was immaculate and staff was very friendly. We enjoyed very much the sauna and out breakfast. The location couldn’t be better, there’s so much to explore around from the passadiços to the many praia fluviais. We will definitely be back!

After a long day riding we booked our dinner, and it took a while for our food to come out and some of the food orders where wrong so had to wait longer.

Location and views are superb, pool and spa great. Rooms are nice, well cleaned and big bed. A very nice touch was a bottle of champagne left for my partners Birthday , nice surprise:)

Menus could be a little more varied, some waiting staff need more training, we preferred to eat in the nearby Pedrogao Grande instead of the restaurant.

Toilets and shower curtain could be a bit more clean and there is some damp on the walls.

Really like the place where it was, near a lot of points of interest and with many parking spaces near the church

I found some issues with the glass door/windows they were not closing very well and we found a bug inside the room on the second day.

The indoor pool should be opened during the night as a suggestion. The outdoor pool during the summer could be dinamized a bit more at night time, with some ambience music, make the most of the bar we have, since there is nothing on the surroundings it would be nice to be chatting and having a drink up until 0h. Also the breakfast could be done until later as we are on holidays and waking up that early is a bit counterproductive. The restaurant could offer more menu variety as it is a bit limited. However, the food served is indeed exquisite ?

1st the scenery… stunning location 2nd the food… delicious 3rd the facilities… outdoor and indoor pool & spa4th the rooms… everything you need for a good nights rest and recharge Nothing to dislike about this hotel..

The only thing was the cocktails pool side… came in a grande plastic pint pot… nothing like the pictures advertised…
