    Pros +

    • The room was clean and the bed was comfy , there was plenty of hot water and being able to park near to the auberge was a bonus.
    • Great apartment and nice pub/restaurant by the same owners. And you park in front for free.
    • The hotel was in a good location and clean, the decor was lovely and it had a restaurant downstairs.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast was adequate, coffee was good , there were.plenty of croissants, bread, cheese and ham and fruit however I think at 12 euros each it was a little bit on the pricey side.Traffic noise early morning.
    • The staff were very rude when we arrived to check in, the young boy behind the bar was more concerned about serving his friend drinks and treated us with disrespect. When the older gentleman came to check us in, he was polite and nice. We went to our room and discovered that the room had two single beds instead of a double, like we asked for when we booked, the hotel never replied to tell us that it was not possible to have a double bed either, therefore, we had to push the two single beds together to sleep. It was okay for one night, but not the most comfortable sleep. When we came back downstairs to have some dinner,as the restaurant was downstairs, the young boy who was originally rude to us just ignored us and was once again more concerned about serving his friends drinks than providing us with a menu or taking our order, therefore after a while waiting,we decided to leave and had a nice dinner next door instead. In the evening the restaurant filled up with people and we had to push past to even get to our room, good thing was that the noise didn't carry much upstairs so that was good. Although the room description says it is sounds proof, it was not as I could hear someone snoring next door.
    • Staff inhospitable . On arrival told restaurant and bar closed. Requested some ice from the bar but refused.

Large and comfy room, good bathroom. In the center of town

The breakfast was in a messy backroom of the hotel and was very basic.

    6DavidPosted on: 7-13-2023

Room was tastefully decorated and clean

Front was closed when we arrived and no facilities for an evening meal despite a restaurant being advertised

    9MariePosted on: 7-5-2023

Perfect for a fuss-free break - accommodation is in modern block on quiet street behind the auberge. Impeccably clean. Breakfast and meals available at auberge or eat in (kitchenette with basic equipment). Private family bedroom as well as double on mezzanine. Separate bathroom, shower room and toilet. Convenient parking off main road.

Beam across top of mezzanine stairs was a bit of a hazard.

The room itself & bathroom very clean, beds comfortable. The gentleman was helpful & answered all our queries re the parking etc.

The welcoming lady was very rude & unprofessional plus no communication re parking possible, festival trucks everywhere. Its also very noisy until 1 am as above a pub, I personally would never return.

Breakfast good, dinner also. Staff friendly and efficient. Hotel immaculate. Parking outside the door.

    Very poor

Going through my invoices. Just found that I paid EUR 43.5 for a EUR 32.5 invoice for an already expensive dinner.

    8NigelPosted on: 9-21-2022

good location. friendly staff. very clean. will definitely come again

    towels were too small.

    9CatherinePosted on: 8-13-2022

A good sized family suite with two separate rooms and a large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very helpful.

    8MatthewPosted on: 8-9-2022

Very good breakfast, although we had to ask for various items to be replenished.

The room was very warm, but in today's conditions you can hardly blame the owner for that!

    9BlagaPosted on: 3-1-2022

    + big and very clean room;+ the restaurant in the hotel is very good;+ parking - just in front of the hotel;+ easy access to the hotel;+ staff was nice and helpful;

    - the radiator in the room was a bit small for the size of the room; it took time for the room to be warm;

Modern nice rooms in a renovated old Ardenne houses

Shower water drain needs a cleaning to have the water run away

    10ErastPosted on: 5-22-2021

We spent just one night over there, but we enjoyed so much. The owner was so friendly, so polite, so hospitable. We stayed on the top floor in the room under the roof. The interior is so attractive and a bathroom is spacious and very clean. Room was cozy and tidy. Breakfast was amazing and full of various food. We would definitely recommend that hotel. Hope to visit again and enjoy one more time.

    Clean and service

As is above a restaurant, the smell of meat at the entrance is a bit disturbing. a bit expensive, and in a normal situation-with restaurants opens - maybe too much noisy.

    5ThomasPosted on: 1-17-2021

Renovated rooms, resto and breakfast is ok

Very bad sound isolation, where awake until 1h because of noise of the room above. I expect much better for the price.

It was easy to find the Hotel. Tasty breakfast with the service to the room. Important to notice the good sound isolation from the street. No complaints:)
