Hotel Le Goelo - Port de Paimpol

What should have served as a bathroom was a tiny cupboard with a not closing pocketdoor, where there was no room to step in or out of the shower. The wash basin was just 30 cm, and trying to bend over it was entering the shower on the opposing side!

Super location, friendly staff and great breakfast.

Good location by the harbour and close to lots of restaurants. Comfortable clean room, although the bathroom was extremely small.

Corridors very very dark. Scant lighting on 4th floor with black walls! Very gloomy and depressing. Third floor like cell block H. Rooms very comfortable. Had to move rooms through plumbing problem. Top floor had velux windows which weren’t very good for sea view requested. Bathroom couldn’t see out at all. Third floor much better for beautiful view.

Beautifully appointed room, delightful management team and excellent breakfasts . Slept well in comfort and had space to read and relax.

Receptionist was horrible. Clearly couldn’t care less about us. We needed a place to store our bike and she offered no help at all. The room was tiny - barely room to walk round the bed. The bathroom was a tiny cupboard. We chose to forfeit our payment and stay elsewhere with nice staff fab room and place for the bike.

Great location at the head of the port. Lots of restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast buffet was amazing. Well with the price

Portside hotel in a lovely old French port town. Staff were nice. Very close to everything uncluding really good restaurants, the station and bakeries.

Paid a lot for a small room in a 2 star hotel but the view from the window onto the harbour offered compensation.

Séjour tres agréable à paimpol

La chambre etait tres petite et la porte de la toilette ne fermait pas bien. We undeestood that there was free parking that the hotel used exsclusively but that was incorrectly as we had to park in a public parking space! So their information is not correct!

A great location and warm welcome in Paimpol

The only thing needed in the room was a kettle. That would have made the stay perfect.

I took a room with a port view, what you see in the photo is what you see out your window. It is “downtown” so noisier at night. Well worth exploring the coastal walking route GR34, north & south from the town. Treguier easy bus ride (though not frequent). You can rent an e-bike from Haute Keranos hotel, about a mile out of town.

My room was small, not enough space for a chair, but clean/tidy.

We are annual visitors to Paimpol and always stay at hotel Le Goelo, a wonderful location full of life,lovely restaurants and boating activity, a walkers paradise with so many options, beautiful beaches and much more, the hearth of Brittany.
