- I stayed over night for business reasons and did not expect much from a hotel situation in a small village situated a few kilometers from Warngau. It was quite a surprise: The hotel was modern, spacious, big and comfortable rooms with all amenities a traveler might need for a stayover. There was free Wifi, and there would even have been a Spa, which I did not use for lack of time. The hotel restaurant seems quite good, but I did not check it out, I was too tired.Parking is free and the staff was very friendly.Breakfast was excellent.

- There is no bar open, restaurant was not working, smell in the room is from dated carpet (but for me this is problem almost eveywhere where is carpet). Breakfast is rich but we didn't like it.
- Großhartpennig is a small village, but the road is rather frequented. For technical reasons the sound of traffic is acoustically trapped in the corner of the building, which meant that I had to close the window at night (which I normally prefer not to do). Then it is sufficiently quiet.

great property near Holzkirchen, about 30min from Munich in S-bahn. Good breakfast options and really nice rooms.
To access the hotel you must take a taxi from the train station from Holzkirchen. It’s a 10 min drive, so take that into account
This was a repeated stay and consistently good experience. Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Very nice wellness & spa area with an outside terrace.Nice and quiet location in the countryside - several country paths for running nearby.
The countryside location can be a downside too - the car is a must as there's no restaurant (other than the hotel one), pub or shop open in the small village in the evening.
Staff was friendly and breakfast was amazing. Room was very spacious.
