Excellent location. Good, clean basic room.

Haven't seen anyone during our entire stay. Made a reservation in the restaurant Sunday evening, everything was closed, lights out no one to be found or reached. Last evening, no water anymore, without notice. Tried to reach someone, again impossible. From 20 in the evening until check out the next day we had no water... Couldn't shower, couldn't brush our teeth... Upon check out again, no one to be found. When we contacted booking for compensation we got the reply from the accommodation that we didn't pay the 10 euros extra for the dog.. How can you pay if there is no one? that was our compensation. What a joke.

Bed was broken on arrival, tried to fix it for the 2 night but then I have seen that it was too broken to repair by my self.Shower temperature control also was broken.Of course you notice that when you want to sleep/showerBreakfast is very late if you want to use it for the bikepark. Just take your own breakfast with you and your good.

Great view on the lac blanc. Really nice owner. We needed to let our car on a safe spot for the next few days and we could let it on the parking without problems.

The view from the room was exceptional. The room was big and comfortable. Evening meal very good value.

The manager has a strange way of dealing with customers. His manner ranges from perfunctory to rude. Breakfast is minimalist and not good value. The whole place has a feeling of having seen much better days.

The balcony was excellent. The setting and view were wonderful. Food was good too but you had to be quick for breakfast.

The rooms were basic but satisfactory.

The Studio was spacious and had a lovely view of Lac Blanc. The bed was comfortable.The location is ideal for day trips. Hiking, cycling or car tours.Lots of parking available.

There is no real reception area and the host not really welcoming. Rather off-handed eventhough we were confirmed to arrive. The staff consists of two plus a kitchen helper. Checking-in was a bit difficult due to language difference. My little French knowledge was not met with much enthusiasm. Not prepared to speak any other language (for the hospitality branch not usual). The lady at the reception who also serves as the waitress for dinner, tried to speak German. With a bit of French/German and gesticulations, we were taken to our room. The access to the rooms rather strange. Through the restaurant, via laundry and storeroom.The studio is not well equipped - kitchen utensils were few, hardly any glasses or crockery. A bit of a potpourri of collectables.The towelling 1 hand towel and two shower towels, and toilet paper not sufficient for two adults for our stay. For our dog, at €5.00 per day, no bowl for water or food. We used our own.We did book with breakfast. Well, each person was allocated a croissant, 2 slices of baguette, jam and very limited amount of cheese and hand slices. Kind requests to replenish the very very small "buffet" was met with a certain disdain. Late comers hardly had coffee or milk and had to ask. On the first night we had dinner there - due to some recommendations in booking.com that the food is authentic and delicious. Well, it was okay. The receptionist and the host were the serving staff. Once again very stern and not friendly. Upon ordering water, the bottle was placed on the table without glasses!No mention on the booking enquiry or confirmation that it is a self-catering and bring your own. Booking.com should mentioned this. For that price one could expect more convenience.The host should learn to be friendlier and service-orientated.

The room was spacious

I requested early breakfast, which was good, but I was asked to heat up the coffee in the available microwave.

Lots of wifi blind spots, and no explanation how to get wifi, how breakfast is organised, nothing. The worse part is the man in charge of breakfast and payment (seems like the owner). He is an awful character who literally threw a basket of breakfast bread and croissants on our table and got into a shouting match with another guest after taking about 20 min to bring one small communal jug of coffee on a counter for 20 guests waiting and being excruciatingly slow to bring the bare essential to each table. Salvation appeared in a few slices of ham and cheese to chew on while waiting. Shame that only after our stay we read other similar reviews regularly posted about the same person, because the property has so much potential.

Very lovely hotel and very friendly hotel staffs. Our room is clean and huge. Everything is perfect. The views is also very nice! You can see cows, mountains and forest from windows.

The breakfast was good. It's convenient that the hotel has a restaurant. The view from our top-floor family room overlooking the forest and lake was quite impressive.

not much really.....the decor & appointments a bit 80's maybe, but doesn't matter.

The Breakfast was very basic, bread, cheese, ham and yogurt. If you are into mountain biking, this is a great location as it is less than 1km from the bike/ski lifts at the top of the mountain. If you are staying there in hopes of traveling to Colmar and visiting the surrounding vineyards, this is a bit far out of the way.

There was very limited mobile phone service once we reached the hotel and while they offered free wi-fi, it was too slow to use for anything other than google searches and also did not extend to our room. It was difficult getting someone on the phone to confirm a late arrival as their phone service seemed to be in need of repair. We also had a weird odor in our room that we could not figure out.
