Hotel Merlot

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway, making it a perfect stopover for a night’s rest before continuing the journey early in the morning.

The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The options were very limited, low in quality, and definitely not worth the price I paid.

Great location, with two outdoor options for dining, multiple terraces to watch the sun set over the Dalmatian mountains, and a fabulous selection of wines (recommended: “Pagan”). Peaceful, clean, and perfectly situated between Dubrovnik and Split. Walking distance from picturesque Opuzen.

Everything was just right.

Steak meal was one of the best I have tasted, no problems, staff perfect and professional.

Two single beds foot to foot, Internet in the room was non-existent, the phone in the room was broken, not the usual standard of room I have had at this establishment as this is the 4th time I have stayed. Possibly a spare room in case of extra bookings or overlap.

The meals were delicious, and the accommodation was comfortable. Originally, I planned to stay for one day, but the accommodation was so comfortable that I decided to stay an extra day.

It was easy to find. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful.The place was mostly accessible with only 3 stairs to climb into the building.There was a choice of beds.The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Enough for anyone with a long day of travelling ahead.The balcony was a nice touch.

The ramp was unavailable, so I had to climb 3 stairs.The balcony net screen was broken, and the entrance door into our room was difficult to use, and the shutter on the balcony window could not be lowered again.The beds were very stiff.

Poor breakfast, coffee machine our of service.No air condition in the room, we had sauna instead of proper night rest. Avoid this hotel if you can.

Failed to keep the reservation despite full pre-payment. Have given the reserved room to others and left out the guest out in the street in the middle of the night!

Location was good - right off the highway. Room and amenities were adequate but dated. The room was clean.

Staff seemed disinterested in being there let alone providing any service.

Second time in this hotel and same good feelingsthe hotel is at a good position for those travelers that want to stop somewhere for 1 night.Not only, the area has a tradition in Wines and fishing All facilities are very good and the restaurant of the hotel is very good as well

Good hotel to stay before travel to Dubrovnik. Rooms are a little dated but suited our purpose very well. We had a nice dinner.

Breakfast is a bit basic.
