    • Lack of English signs for doorways, menus, drinks and directions
    • Opening times for exclusive spa could have been longerDespite booking well in advance, there weren't very nice lounger bed locations for us.     The spa area was great. Loved the outdoor pool; our room was fine. Food was good but heavily meat focused;

The room smelled of sewer gas (perhaps coming from the shower we suspected); spa closed at 4pm on December 24th; we were forced into an early dinner at 5:30pm like we were seniors. On the 24th for lunch, guests wore their bathrobes; after I went swimming on 25th in the morning, I tried the same but had to change. Robes only at lunch. It said breakfast is until 10:30am. We got there at 9:45 (since the spa does not open until 9am and we were checking out that morning). At 9:58, they removed all the breakfast food and practically tossed us out. Nobody mentioned that this day breakfast was only until 10 am - why you ask. The hotel had a big outside brunch crowd coming and the hotel guests became 2nd thought. It felt hurried and uncomfortable- for €600 for one night, I expect better.

We had not a good experience with the hotel side, but we were happy with the meals at hotel’s restaurant. The quality of food were good every meals since we arrived. In the room rate include 3 meals a day (full board). The restaurant’s staff were good, everyone have nice attitude made the restaurant’s environment good.I also liked the massage, we were enjoyed & relaxed.

The front desk staff took a long time to check in with a lot of confusion. When we entered the room, we saw small double bed in small room and our rooms far from elevator. We asked receptionist for new room with twin bed & close to elevator. He said, we can have twin room if we pay for upgrade. I asked him how much? He said “he could not tell until tomorrow”. I want to make decision tonight, and if I do not know how much it cost for the upgrade, how can I do it? An argument between my friend & that receptionist had started. After my friend has gone I has contacted him again asked for the cost finally, he came back with the cost of Euro.1,200/room (original was Euro.986.70). When I stepped into my room ..OMG, the hotel only separated the single bed that was been together away, and the funny thing was the head table is built-in, so one bed was placed next to head table. This was absurd! However it was late in the evening, we were so tired, therefore I did not want to have another issue with that unfriendly front desk again. There is no kettle in the room. They only provide coffee machine that charged for each capsule. Shower faucet is broken I cannot adjust it into warm & cold water. I have informed hotel 2 times in two days, technician came to fix but it was still the same (they should change the faucet, if they can't fix it). So I had to take shower from the pool area. I should sue them to take legal actions for burning my skin. This should not happen to anyone. My friends who live next to Tatzmanndorf took me to used thermo pool 7 years ago. I was very impressed, and though of taking my friends to stay in hotel,so we can have a good retreat. I felt very embarrassed and guilty that my friends had to pay this much for uncomfortable hotel & unfriendly receptionist. Most of the staff are poor in English.

Amazing hotel and very friendly staff. We spend a lot of weekends and holidays at this hotel in the last 20 years and every year we found some new facilities. Very good breakfast with local products, nice dinner. Therme area is perfect. We will come back again and again. Thank you for everything.

Very good hotel for relaxation and/or active holiday. You can stay all day at therme, sauna and relaxation or you can go to sport activities (water gymnastic, yoga, nordic walking, streching program, bike trips). All was perfect.

Staff were excellent and very helpful - It's a German speaking area but most staff spoke reasonable English - if they didn't and we were stuck, they found someone to help. The room was a reasonable size, very well appointed, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Very easy access to the room. Secure parking was included. Although a limited choice, the food (Breakfast and Dinner were included in the price) was fabulous and service excellent. It's a 'Health Spa' based place and there seemed to be something for everyone - we were only there for a few days so didn't get to sample everything. Finding the place is easy within its local area - very well signposted from a few km out - even from the motorway from Vienna!

Nothing!! Would definitely stay there again.

great service, excellent wellness facilitiesgood food, nice atmospheresauna and aufguss ceremonies were superb!

hotel spa closed 10 minutes before it should have, was a hassle to get my belongings from itsauna aufguss reservation a bit clumsy

The room is nice, the food was delicious, very nice settings for the breakfast. Waiters in the restaurant and bar - very nice, friendly and professional.

It was not clear from the proposal, that almost all the spa facilities are publicly accessible. So - huge amount of people, and no relaxation at all. This was far away from our expectations. The private hotel spa is very small and we got for the first day the spa bed booked in the public area. We didn’t even want to stay for the day 2.

Amazing number of pools, such a selection I have never seen in a single resort.

Staff was a bit difficult from time to time. Not enough snacks offered for free in the Spa

    10BoscadoruPosted on: 8-22-2023

Very big room, and bathroom also. The restaurant was great: many options for the breakfast and very tasteful dishes for dinner. We enjoyed very much the food and appreciated that the sizes of the dishes were just enough. Very clean in the spa area and around swimming pools.

Avita Resort is great place to relax - it offers not only wonderful spa facilities (several pools, saunas, jacuzzi, pond, various types of massages, etc.) , but also the great services beside of this - exquisite dining, beautifully furnished hotel, a lot of plants, beautiful nature around,.. etc.

the whole stay was perfect, staff was very attentive and polite, we couldn't complain :)

the private spa should be open the same times as the public spa!

    Extremely dissatisfied!!

The system of booking a lounger in the spa area is dreadful! We weren't aware that one had to book in advance so we were allocated places on the first day at the entrance to one of the saunas....ridiculously busy and very dark, not to mention we aren't sauna users...and on the second day we were expected to face a radiator wall all-day whilst the rest of the quiet room had beautiful views to the countryside. For the amount of money we paid for the stay, an rather unsatisfactory experience!!!!! Don't think we'll be going there again!

The food was superb, really amazing and anything we chose was delicious, so big thanks to the kitchen Chef and his team. The staff everywhere is genuinely friendly and they go above to help you. The room was great with small walk-in closet and separate toilet and also a balcony, it was quiet and it was warm which was great when you came in but not so great at night. It does have air/con so you can adjust it. It was very clean. There is a big choice of saunas and areas and even though the hotel was full you did not have a feeling of crowding. Quite a choice of pools with warm water as well. The bathrobes and towels that are provided are great. Even though we did not use it, there is a possibility of e-bike hire. Wi-Fi is great.

I did not like that on a check-in day you get included the entry to thermals and saunas (as we could not utilize it) but on the check-out day you have to pay for it. It could be transferable or like most places included, not the room but there are lockers that can be used after the check-out.The place is like a maze and we did not find all the things and it's easy to get lost. A detailed plan of saunas and thermals would be appreciated. there is a map but it's too general. The lounge chairs are allocated which is really unhelpful. Our chairs were in the thermal area but we hardly used that as we were in the sauna area most of the time. Very restrictive and we really didn't end up resting. There is too few water stations. After sauna, you are supposed to drink a lot but it's hard to get to the water. There are gates everywhere to touch through which made us annoyed. For the program sessions in sauna, you have to book in advance which is also inconvenient. All in all, it felt a bit restrictive and not relaxed at all.The slippers are in one size only.

Everything was very clean, there were a lot of possibilities, endless amount of saunas and space so it doesn’t get crammed

the staff was very unfriendly, you get a reserved bed for the day and can’t lay anywhere else because all beds are reserved but no one told us where ours is so we ended up going around and couldn’t find ours. The food wasn’t very nice and there is only one main course option for the lunch menu (fish, veggie or meat so if you’re vegetarian every 2nd day you can only have soup and/or bread)

Everything was great. Perfect location surrounded by forests, comfortable and quiet room, excellent, varied and healthy food. The pools, saunas and fitness center were clean and not crowded. I also appreciated (only for) LADY SPA. The staff was friendly and kind. I had a wonderful rest and I am looking forward to my next stay.

That I could not stay longer :)And if I have to write something, the mattress was a bit soft for me...

spa facilities are great and diverse

nothing for children in the hotel, not even a play corner

Pretty nice place, a bit pricey especially for mid week. The dinner was nice but a bit overdone with the nouvelle cuisine on giant plates.
