Best value accomodation in the area! cheap and cheerful. I was very pleased. Staff were very nice. This is a cheaper hotel and for one night it suited me and my 2 kids just fine. I would stay again . lots of cafe and shops around.

Parking is a bit of a mess in the area. you may have to search for parking. its a bit busy in a good way.

We stayed just one night. Very kind staff, allowed us to check in early. We had a balcony to relax on. With our clean towels they give you slippers. Coffee, cookies, water provided in the lobby a nice touch. Shower was good. Clean room and bathroom. A note about parking, you have to find street parking.

The mattress was a bit springy, not the most comfortable.

Improve the shower?

This hotel offers clean and nicely executed up to date decor in the center of a normal Greek town. This is not tourist accommodations...so real Greek culture. The shower was not separate from the bathroom (no shower stall) so required some ingenuity...but you got the hang of it! The tile work as well as the contemporary painting of the room was first rate. It showed that they really cared! Morning pastries with coffee much appreciated.

Location was good. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Nice gesture with the biscuits and tea/coffee in the morning.

Noisy area

We loved Hotel Theoxenia! Stephania was lovely and surprised us with a beautiful gift of wine and rose petals for our honeymoon. Pastries, tea and (American-style) coffee every morning. Big room, nice balcony. Another review said water didn't get hot enough - not true!!! You have to wait a moment for it to warm up but then it has a full range of cold to normal to actually scalding, perfect for people like me who like to shower on the surface of the sun. Argos is a great place to stay to explore the region and the town itself is cute and has plenty of restaurants, bars etc as well as a few interesting historical sites.

The bathroom was a bit odd for us as it was painted instead of tiled. Other than that, all good.

Very friendly owner, some coffee and cakes proposed for breakfast. Confortable bed and nice terrace.

The host was very welcoming. The building had a classic historical look and was nicely updated. It was close to restaurants and cafes.

Street traffic was a bit noisy at night.

Clean and confortable. But.... The air... The air...

Smoker around. If your neighbours are smoking on the balcony just close to you, you are smoking as well. I informed the staff about this matters I explained that it is very unpleasant and what was a surprise, it was the staff, or perhaps the same owners using the room as a office and smoking.. So they completely ignored my complaint. No future with this issue...

Location was A1, very close walking distance to all local sights - Acropolis, restaurants, metro, etc.

Was a little bit noisy in the evenings due to being near a 24/7 McDonalds so the delivery scooters were always coming and going.

Centrally located & receptionist very friendly & helpful. Basic but clean room & as only for one night cannot complain. Various cafes nearby for breakfast.

The hotel is located close to the center. You can find super market near by and kiosks (that they are open 24h).There are also few good options for lunch/dinner near by the hotel

The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. It was too small and the shower was inconvenient

Very clean, and it seems that the rooms have recently been remodeled. The staff works very hard and changes the linens daily. There is also a small breakfast bar available in the morning! We were very happy to be there and to have such a nice location. The bathroom is a small wet room, but it is cleaned so well that it really makes no problem.

The bathroom is very uncomfortable: there is no proper shower, the toilet and the shower are in the same space without any divisor, the shower head has no fixing point.

The hotel is located in the center of Argos. There are no problems to park your car nearby. Simple room but very clean and equipped with everything you need. Only the bathroom was a bit small. In general excellent value for money. The owner is a really nice woman, very helpful and attentive to the needs of the customer.

Lovely place with local people, the staff was very kind and it was all clean and tidy.
