Pros +
- Hotel is in old building with nice and cosy oldschool atmosphere. However might not be suitable for people who prefer modern style. Hotel has also very nice restaurant.
- The accomodation was located in a historic building with thick walls and special atmosphere. Decoration and equipments reflected a long tradition. Breakfast was really was nice with fresh orange juice, great coffee, lot of fresh goods and very good selection for vegetarians also. Staff was very welcoming, friendly, always available and helpful. My wife had an arm injury and they very nicely gave us all information required to go to the emergency and provided us fresh food even though it happened new years eves night. It was also very nice surprise that they had charger for electric car, and they charged very fair price. Surroundings beautiful with nice hills, few smaller ski areas. The urban area (Obdach) is small village but many restaurants and 2 supermarkets, tidy village with a large church.
- True gem of hospitality in historic building surrounded with beautiful nature. Dani and her husband are running this fantastic guest house where we felt so welcomed and comfortable. We will be back soon. Loved the fact that we could charge our electric car overnight. Thank you again Dani.
Cons -
- Nothing to report:).
- My bathroom was a bit oldschool, looked like a cabin in a ferryboat. It was clean and very well equipped, just the look was a bit strange. My friends bathroom was super modern so I think there is an effort going on to being renovated. We've spent only one night so it was good as it is.
- The hotel is relatively old and needs refurbishment.

Spacious and clean room, good breakfast, nice owners.
Very friendly staff, nice location, perfect choice for a ski trip
Firstly I was very happy with the online check in. No need to to fill forms, just provide the details on a webpage 5*.When we've arrived the owner was so nice to come out and helped us to show how to enter the parking slots.Food was 5* breakfast and diner as well. Rooms are very big, some of them are renovated. They speaks english but'Ive forced to try my poor german and they were really helpful. We were on a motorbike trip, Gaberl pass is 20minutes far.

Located among hills on border of Styria and Carinthia, close to a town square, but rather quiet place. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice of meals, but in case of more people there is relatively smaller space around the bufet section. Downstairs is a very good restaurant with very tasty meals, recommended for dinners.
The hotel is relatively old and needs refurbishment.
Exceptional
Smaller room was located above a heat pump or something that was vibrating all night long, it was really annoying.
Very lovely place with kind people. Nice, quiet room with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Very good location.
Location Friendly staff
A bit outdated
The room was spacious and comfy. The staff if kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good and with freshly squeezed orange juice. The town was also very nice.
Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff and the breakfast was absolutely the best I have had in Austria so far.
Charming historic property. Comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Good value for the price. Cute town convenient to the highway.
Bathroom, although clean, could use better ventilation. This impacted the overall air quality in the room.
A real olde worlde Austrian hotel. A fantastic building, antique furniture but modern furnishings (bed, bathroom). If you're in the area, it is definitely worth a detour.
Good location in nice old village
very traditional, spacious and clean
Everything. Food was amazing quality and at a good price. A full 3 course dinner with sides and with drinks included was 35 euro per person, the rooms are big and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and they even waited 20 extra minutes for us to arrive before closing the kitchen. Amazing value for the money and I can't wait to return. Bonus, it's 20 minutes by car from the RedBull ring, for motorsports fans (which I am).
A bit hard to reach, and parking might be an issue. Wasn't for us, but there aren't many parking spots around.
Very good location, Friendly staff, deliciuos breakfast and nice restaurant. Cozy rooms.
Room, breakfast, landlady, climate atmosphere, everything
Everything was perfect
The owner of the Hotel is very welcoming and helpful. The room is cosy and very well equipped. Central location but very quiet. Enjoyed the diverse breakfast buffet. Will definitely return as it was the ideal staycation.
We stayed here for a night on our travel from Italy towards Czechia. You can see it is old. Staff very friendly and helpful. I liked they have EV charger and welcome dogs. Large private lawn to walk the dog as well.
Our window was to the street, it was noisy from occasional trucks passing as we we kept window open during the night.
